We had a wonderful time at the property with our family. There are some lights that need to be fixed. The undercounter light over the sink, the stairway lights and one light in the barrel ceiling. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing place!

Big Blue is a special place. We loved being here and 14 people were very comfortable spending time, making meals and visiting together. It rained cats and dogs all weekend, but we were warm and safe inside.

Very nice beach front home on the ocean. We had an exceptional time. The only negative is that the hot tub does not work very well which would have been super nice to be in at night overlooking the ocean and stay warm.

Great friends and Big Blue

We had an amazing stay at Big Blue. House is just as described and more! Could not ask for a better venue for a gathering of friends. The weather didn’t cooperate for viewing the solar eclipse as we had hoped, but no one complained because we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

We were there 10 years ago and when i asked my husband what he wanted to do for his 70th birthday, he said rent big blue and invite ou family and friends. many in our group want to rent it themselves

This home was everything we hoped to see. A beautiful home with an amazing view. It was great for a large family gathering. We were able to sit out by the fire pit and watch several amazing sunsets. The hot tub was in a fantastic location on the second level. The nights were clear and we were able to see the milky way clearly. The adults and kids enjoyed the beach which was easily accessed with a flight of stairs. The rooms were all good size and parking was great. We would definitely consider going here again.

The house does not disappoint, it has all the checked boxes you are looking for in a beach rental. Large kitchen, gas cook top and all the kitchen gadgets you need for making fantastic meals, large table for game night. Large bedrooms with super comfortable beds, enough bathrooms for your group. Best of all is the really easy beach access to do all that beach-combing, kite flying activities. This is our second time renting "Big Blue" for our family reunion. Everyone raved about the house and how comfortable it is. I highly recommend this house. We Love it!!! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this house.

From the day I contacted the management about the house through our stay we could not be happier. The management was very responsive and good to work with. The amenities at the home was outstanding and covered about anything you may need. The house itself was by far the largest and nicest we have rented. It is beautiful, spacious, and has a wonderful ambiance. The location of the house on the beach was perfect. This home helped make our family reunion the most memorable yet! Thanks for allowing ten adults and ten children under eleven, have such a great time at this house. We will be back!

Great place for large group!

This is truly a great place for a large group. With a main house having 4 bedrooms with their own ocean view deck and each their own bathrooms, along with another bedroom with two sets of bunk beds all located in the main house, and the firepit on the back patio and a kitchen/dining room that can sit an army is all exactly what we needed for our large group. The Guest House above the garage is terrific with two bedrooms and daybed in the living room along with couches and very large screen TV and the playroom in the garage with ping pong etc was great. Outstanding place! Just a tip to be sure all cable boxes for each TV are in working order prior to the arrival of guests (three cable boxes worked, two we figured out and got them working after a cable reboot, one never worked as the cable box never came on). We found that the price is going up, having looked up coming back next year.... we won't be able to afford it going forward for the summer months unless the price remains the same, which is too bad, we love this place it is very awesome and works so well for a large group. The owners are great - very quick, responsive to our needs, and helpful as well!!

Beautiful home, beware of additional charges after

We rented this home with the intent to have multiple generations come together for the weekend and then decided to surprise them with a small wedding. It was the perfect place as it would sleep our whole family for the weekend, we would have space, could cook our favorite foods. etc...The home is beautiful! When we first arrived, we had to wait outside for the home to finish being cleaned despite arriving after the check in time. The housekeeping staff was still working and trying to fix the hot tub. We didn't let this initially deter us form enjoying this beautiful home. After all we wanted it to be clean when we were staying. After we got in and began to settle everyone into their rooms we began to notice a lot of things that were damaged, not working or in disrepair. The hot tub still was not working. We were told that it was fixed and should heat up. It never did and my family was really disappointing as this was a large part in deciding to rent this home. We kept a list (this is what the long list of instructions said to do). The dishwasher didn't work, there was a broken and unusable bed, the electrical in one of the main room was completely out except one lamp beside the bed, one of the game tables didn't turn on, etc. There were also stained carpets, towels, the BBQ grill was dirty and greasy. I wasn't complaining initially, the intent was just to let the owner know. When the list was given to the owner, the response was a long list of things that we did to the home and a request to pay double in housekeeping costs! One of the bathrooms had a dirty floor/toilet (one of our kids got sick and we missed the mess ) However, there were claims of the home being "abused" and in complete disrepair. There is a long list of things to do when leaving the home. We expected this we have stayed in vacation rentals before. My family spent the entire morning at check out, stripping beds, starting laundry, washing dishes, taking out the trash, etc. We certainly did not leave the home a complete mess and followed everything on the list before leaving. I am a nurse and an honest person, if there was something that we did to this home to warrant 32 hours additional cleaning and double the amount for regular cleaning fees, I would kindly pay the amount and apologize profusely. If you choose to rent this home be sure to inspect everything upon arrival.

Stunning view

This property was perfect for our 4 families with children of different ages. The view was breath taking, and waking up to it every morning made our stay absolutely worthwhile. Even though we were by the coast in June, we still lucked out with a couple of sunny days. The town was quaint, and everyone was friendly. We liked both restaurants we ate at, and got to do many sightseeing (the seals were just adorable!) The outdoor firepit was a hit for story-telling and s'mores. A few things I'd like to note: -the dishwasher at the guest house was labeled 'out of order' when we arrived, and was in the same condition when we left -there were 2 dishwashers in the main house, but only one operated -the smoke detector in the northwest bedroom kept beeping even after we replaced its battery. I also notice a missing detector in the northwest hallway -on one of the sunny days, we came home around 4 or 5 pm, and the house was very warm (temperature was 84 upstairs). The nice thing was, after we opened all windows and sliding doors, it cooled down after 30 minutes -this property seems to be a favorite to many, which is why I see many other areas needing upkeep (ripped window blinds, no landscape lights, etc.) -many basic spices in the kitchen but no sugar

Beautiful Place
