"We had a great time staying in this cabin. Kim came kayaking by and gave us the courage to give it a try. She was very kind in helping teach our kids how to row the kayaks and just checking in on us. We did some fishing, took a walk, and hung out on the porch watching the river. The fireflies at night are the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. My niece loved catching the frogs. Staying here feels like you’re at a family lake house."

"Stayed two nights in May. House was well equipped, clean and as advertised. Beds were super comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t need to use anything on this trip, but were very pleased to see that we would not have to bring any small appliances to this rental. Contact with the owner, Darlene, was easy and she was quick to respond. Looking forward to a future stay. Highly recommend."

"There were 7 of us visiting to attend my daughter's graduation from GA Southern. This house was a nice place for all of us to stay together and only 30 mins out from Statesboro with a very easy drive between the two. Space was clean and stocked with everything needed amenity wise. Booking was easy and we had a nice stay. Would recommend for anyone. Another plus is a DG a skip and hop from the house. Very convenient for something quickly needed or last minute item. Also, 9 miles or so to I16, and...

"An before before reaching my destination I received an email from the owners that the place was rented out to someone else. They never bothered to check their email that a reservation had been booked for their rental. VRBO cancelled my booking but wanted to place me into a hotel. The entire point of. VRBO is not to stay at a hotel. Ended up driving back home."

"Our family absolutely loved staying here. Tranquility only begins to describe this beautiful place. The grounds are amazing and the Hope House is a showpiece. Everything you need for respite and renewal is there and you will not find better hosts than George and Brenda anywhere. We will definitely be returning. "Not what I was expecting but more than I was expecting at the same time. The house needs to be lit up on the outside as it is on a dark dirt road and the owner already said she will take care of that. Very comfortable and cute place to stay while we were visiting Statesboro."
