The water pressure in the shower is phenomenal. We were only here one night, I wish we would have stayed longer. It was within waking distance from the train station. "I arrived to Hotel Royal St. George’s in the late evening, barely awake - I had hiked all day leading up to my arrival. Rudi picked me up from the train station (a lifesaver!!) and greeted me with positive energy that I really needed and even managed to give me a few amazing recommendations in my tired state. My room was amazing and so comfortable, and I didn’t have to ask for help bringing up my bags or getting set up within the room. All of the staff at HRSG did the thinking for me that night which I so appreciated. The hotel was also very accommodating with a late check out and holding my bags while I went adventuring the next day, and dropped me off at the train station when I left. Ultimately I wished I was able to stay longer."

"You can book, check in, and check out without ever speaking to another person… if that’s what you like, it’s great! We certainly missed the human contact. Otherwise, it’s a good place to stay. The fire alarm was triggered while we were here (no big deal, just an alarm), which isn’t a problem except the stairwell door wouldn’t open to the lobby without a key card even while the alarm was going off, which is pretty concerning considering a lot of folks didn’t have their keycard in their pyjamas at 22:00."
