“As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants. One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix. Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park……

“It was great to have the soft play, pool and the rest of the children entertainment on site. Also, a superstore on a walking distance is a good option.”

“Clean room, nice views. Check in was smooth. Lots of stairs up to the room but we knew that when booking. Would stay again as it’s good value for money.”

“The room was basic but clean, very warm, they do provide a fan which helped but couldn’t open the window due to the extra glassing that had been installed. Breakfast was nice and the staff were also polite, friendly and helpful.”

“At first as we arrived around 4:15pm our room wasn’t ready but the reception sort it out. I tried to call the owner before that but the owner no response till we left. The flat is ok but its a building flat so we have neighbours upstairs and downstairs also at the side. Its like compound of flat not sure how they called. When someone walking upstairs you can hear them badly specially in the night so as our floor, its really not relaxing but frustrating. Having said that, in the restaurant and……

“The booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were £35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets.”

“A beautifully maintained and owner-cherished lodge in a peaceful surroundings away from the hubbub of normal life. A lovely relaxing place to spend time and to use as a base when enjoying the breathtaking views and experiences in the local area. The beds were comfy, the showers were powerful, and there’s every utensil you need for a group of 6 in the kitchen to cook and eat together. The little welcome pack was a lovely touch.”

“A warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Had a first class room in the old house. Could not have wished for more. The restaurant offered great food including local seafood and excellent steaks. All sensibly priced. This in one hotel we shall be recommending to friends and returning ourselves. Faultless.”
