What's not to love about this cozy cabin in Helen, featuring spacious outdoor decks, a firepit, a newly installed hot tub, and a gazebo, all set along tranquil Coffee Creek? This cabin is in an ideal north Georgia location, minutes from downtown Helen, where Alpine Village offers shopping, mini golf, a water park, tubing, and a roller coaster. Unicoi State Park and fantastic hiking at picturesque Blood Mountain are also a quick drive away. This vacation rental is only 12 miles from Lake Burton for boating and fishing (with proper licensure).

This home offers a relaxing outdoor environment and an open floor plan layout that combines the living, dining, and kitchen areas for your convenience! This charming vacation rental also features an updated, well-equipped modern kitchen for easy meal preparation, a gas grill, and TVs set around warm fireplaces. There's nothing left to be desired at this unique home away from home!

THINGS TO KNOW
The gas fireplace is seasonally operational from October 1st through April 15th.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice cabin in the woods and close to Helen. Sadly this visit did not meet our expectations. Booked through VRBO, the true listing rental was Vacasa. Made validating on time payment an extra chore to prove. When we arrived we had several issues. The door keypad sticks and took several tries to work every time. The internet did not work at all so couldn't use smart TVs either. The gas fireplace did not work. Appeared to be clean at first but there were noticeable fingerprints and dog snot on back door windows. Also found a used shower cap on bathroom door. Noticable sediment in hot tub. Floors and surfaces were clean. Beds and other linens clean. Stocked with most essentials. Could use towels for hot tub and updated/ wipeable couches. Vacasa was quick to respond by text only. Long wait times when I tried to call.

A slice of heaven

This is by far the best place we've stayed in the area and are already looking into booking it again for next year. We would love for this to be our yearly getaway spot! The cabin is cozy and cute. The bed was surprisingly VERY comfortable! There are two bedrooms but only used the one. I assume both beds are the same. We loved the big deck and porch. The showstopper is the backyard. The lights, the moss covered roof on the gazebo, the cute creek, the trees... WOW! Someone else negatively commented prior about the old animal hutches on the property but I thought they added character to the place! The jacuzzi was great. Having a kitchen, washer and dryer is awesome. Wifi was fine. We spent a lot of time outside by the firepit. The gas fireplace was cool too, although we had to have someone come light the pilot light because we couldn't figure out why it wasn't coming on. Vacasa was extremely responsive when we reached out to address it. Overall cleanliness outside and inside was great. The only downside was that the rugs smell of animal urine - I am assuming from dogs since the cabin is furbaby friendly (and we love that aspect! But, we don't have any pups.) I left a note for housekeeping to address it to hopefully shampoo the rugs. Overall 10000000/10 experience. Consider this your permission to book this place immediately. You won't be sorry.

Cute house, clean, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, nice hot tub. Outside could use a bit of cleanup. The sofa not very comfortable. No instructions for fireplaces. No remote found for porch fireplace. Bathrooms have small tub shower combo and standard height toilets.

Can't beat the location if you want access to Helen and various fishing spots.

Again, the location is tops. The property needs some updating; living room furniture is uncomfortable, one bedroom lacked a dresser (thus, no storage) and both lacked sufficient hangers. The kitchen lacked many items which we typically find in rentals; aluminum foil, paper nalkins, tissues, etc.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with wet/sticky counters, dirty dishes, pizza boxes from previous guests, and just general dinginess. After doing some cleaning, and settling in following a 10 hour drive, we then came to realize that the front tv and fireplace were useless. We were later told that the gas fireplace is off during the fall and winter and only available during spring and summer. (makes sense??!) I will say, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well furnished. As other reviewers have pointed out, the mattresses were comfy. The kitchen was well supplied and had nice appliances. In summary, we made it work until the fourth roach execution and simply decided to move on a day early. We've always had great luck with Vacasa properties, but this one sadly did not live up.

Our Time In Helen Georgia

We just got back from our 4 day mini vacation booked through Virbo.com. Living coastal, we wanted a cool mountain vacation and discovered a small gem on the map called Helen, Georgia. What a lovely place. We dined on some of the best German Cuisine each night. Hiked to a waterfall, shopped on main street, and just had a really great time. All while staying at the Coffee Creek Cabin, A wonderfull rental home that we stayed in. At the Coffee Creek Cabin, it came with a real feel of peaceful quiet in the middle of nowhere. Both king size beds were Amazingly comfortable. Minor problems included the batteries in the tv remotes could have used a change. Regardless, Free cable! with two Televisions! Better than a hotel. The pressure in the showers was a bit weak, however it's the mountains and maybe that's normal. It didn't slow our good time down. There's a Mr. Coffee so bring your favorite grinds. And, the house has a full Laundry Room. Yard has its own moving creek like a meditation retreat. This house was awesome! We found the Coffee Creek Cabin through Vacasa.com who manages the property. It was the easiest booking and checking out I've ever had to deal with. I didn't even have to talk with a single person. Vacasa property management was excellent with keys in a lock box. I'm leaving this review in hopes that someone else can find it, read it, and book themselves the same great vacation we had with the help of these apps.
