“Literally in the middle of nowhere but if you like that sort of thing this is the place to be. We loved it for a few nights. House was great, road to get there was not but we have 4 wheel drive and our kids thought it was hilarious.”

“I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future.”

“Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while.……

“Great place to stay for a family of three. Also had a dishwasher washer/dryer plus a circular driveway. ”

“On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car.”

“Lovely place could move into it and be super happy, only downside was although it states dog friendly it's not secure as the fencing around which leads straight onto the sheep fields is easy to get into, also near the hottun they can jump into the road and also under the gate, if this could fixed I would definitely come back again with them, apart from making it more secure and safe for the dog and sheep around it was a lovely place to stay”

“Ideal location in centre of Dornoch near golf courses and town square. Well appointed space for a group of friends each wanting there own space. Modern decor and appointment in a traditional building with its own garden space and off street parking.”
