“This was our second stay here. Cabin is clean peaceful and relaxing. I kayaked while my husband fished. (Bass, Catfish and bluegill) There is a huge turtle in there! I did not see any snakes which is a relief. You can hear the coyotes at night, but the area is well lit so no need to worry.
There is a coffee shop in Viola. It’s Beanfield coffee house very nice and friendly staff. Also in Viola there is an ice cream shop and a dollar general if you forgot anything. For shopping essentials there……

“Pros:- Everything important was clean (sheets and bathroom)- The location was amazing: gorgeous view of the river, quiet space out in nature, and super close to Nauvoo- Check-in and check-out were smooth and easyCons:- Most of the rental was covered in years' worth of dirt and grime- The cabin had an extremely strong mildew smell. It was so strong that I had a hard time sleeping at night. - One of the window A/C units was unusable because of mold”

“To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced home to……
