"The interior of the house was fine. Some low ceilings in the stairwell and upstairs bedroom but nothing major. "The house was dirty and run-down, in a bad neighborhood. The only positive was its proximity to downtown Indiana. The beds were generally falling apart, the kitchen was a mess, the oven, refrigerator, etc. The beds, mattresses, and couches stank, the front door was practically falling apart, and the doorknob was falling off. "House was very nice. Very nice game room with plenty of games and books. It was such a great help for us and the kids. House was clean and homey. The host was available when we had questions. She was most accommodating when we had to check out later due to a flat tire. Heated floors in the bathrooms were a nice extra. One thing was the knives in the stand in the kitchen had rust spots and some were dirty."
