“First, our rental was unavailable supposedly the rents where unable to be found to check out. So we were move to different house. We had trouble entering. No wifi, had to ask for I host had to come and trouble shooot. And still wasnt fixed. Sewer system was backed up and we could use the rest room or take a shower!”

“The house was perfect for our stay in Oakdale. Exactly as the photos portrayed it, very clean and tidy, with a nice private backyard. However, I would have to say BEWARE OF EXORBITANT SECURITY DEPOSIT. I was unaware of this requirement until three days before our stay when I was required to pay the full amount of the deposit plus the rental fee for the one night stay. After checking the fine print on VRBO, which was not easy to find, I discovered that it is the host that sets the amount of the……

“Great communication from owner. Clean and welcoming place.”

“The duplex is freshly painted and clean, overall a great place to stay for a few days for a decent price but it is dated and on a busy street. The mattresses could use an update and extra pillows/choices of pillows and some extra blankets would be nice.”

“Images on the VRBO Site at the time we reserved our space showed a lovely back yard which is what we were looking for because we have a 5 year old. Apparently, without notice they decided to cut the back yard to a small walk space vs the larger grass back yard listed. Every time the A/C turned on ceiling lights flickered pretty badly and would cause us to have to turn off the lights in every room. This……

“Having a spot right by the entrance made things more convenient. The queen bed provided firm support while the shower pressure refreshed me. Checking in took only minutes.”

“Parking was right there making unloading bags and parking convenient.”

“Beautiful home and a tranquil location with lots to do on-site. You’re close to town if you need anything but still feels secluded and away from it all. The host is great, very responsive. We had a repair issue, and he had a repair man here an hour after we messaged! Perfect spot for our family getaway (5 families with kids ranging from 3mo-17). On the top floor, there’s a living room and a couple multi-bed rooms. Perfect spot for the older kids to sleep and hang out. Lots of areas to congregate……

“The host was very responsive. They allowed us to check in slightly early which was very helpful. Unfortunately, we were not able to access the Internet despite multiple attempts; communication regarding the Wi-Fi password and set up could have been better. We did bring our own towels, as we had eight people, and there wouldn’t have been enough shower towels for all of us.Other than that the place was clean and served as well for a one night stay.”
