“This was our third time at Mandela Desa. While things have changed around the villas since we were there last in 2018, it still offers the peace and tranquillity and wonderful obliging staff as always. The View Suite still offers the amazing rice field and mountain views and having breakfast on the veranda was a favourite time of day for us. We highly recommend this 4 room boutique accommodation to anyone that is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali or Ubud. Relax and recharge……

“Stayed for a week. The service was good, but the breakfast could’ve been much nicer. It’s hard to enjoy a peaceful breakfast when construction noise is basically part of the morning menu. Overall, a decent stay, just not quite the relaxing atmosphere I expected.”

“Séjour très agréable. La villa est vraiment spacieuse, avec piscine privée sans vis à vis. Le restaurant de l’hôtel propose une offre large, international à indonésienne. Les repas sont bons mais peu copieux (homme avec un bon appétit). ”

“I like the design and staff of the villa. The private pool is amazing too. But there are a lot of different type of insects in the villa, like centipede, mosquito, gecko and ants. I am concerned with the cleaniness of the villa since many moving ants are on bed even the staff had cleaned the room. Also, we have to ask the staff to fix the hot water before bathing everyday. ”

“房間乾淨度：房間很髒，有很多小動物：老鼠，青蛙，壁虎。要求換了兩次房才勉強住下。綿被有黃漬，血漬。住四晚都沒有換。飯店距離離市區實在太遠（1小時距離），附近很偏僻。根本不可能靠走的出去。後來老闆覺得不好意思才免費提供飯店車帶我們去Kuta市區。”

“Staff were fantastic . Unfortunately plumbing went awry and our.room stunk of sewerage,getting so bad we had to ask the move rooms. Staff were happy to accommodate this but we had to ask as the cleaning staff just acted like the room was fine. No hot water on the last day. Quiet and out of the way but obviously has both some teething and ongoing maintenance issues. These things ruined our stay there.”
