"We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. Great, roomy bathroom with bath tub, shower, sink and toilet all separated. It also has a great location near the Kyoto station but a bit tucked away from the crowds which is ideal. Highly recommended!"
