Burnet Highland Lakes Squadron Hotels

"We visited Burnet to celebrate our daughter’s birthday with our family. This home is cozy, clean, fully equipped, and just plain lovely. The backyard invites you outside with the pool, hot tub, and well planned seating with decorative lighting. The kitchen is totally fully equipped whether you are dining out or in. The bathrooms are updated and the beds are comfy with high end bedding. It’s well priced and the neighborhood is very nice and close to restaurants . It just feels like home."

"Easy to park my Truck and bass boat. They were very accommodating. Rooms were freshly remodeled aa well as the bathrooms. Extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable! Priced a little higher than i would have expected but all in all had an awesome 2 night stay. "

"The bathroom mirror had a light around the whole mirror that was not working properly. The window shade that is see through was cut too short. It was about a foot and a half from touching the bottom window seal. My room wasn’t the only one that had that problem with the window shade that lets sunlight in but no one could see into the room. "

"This is an AWESOME house! It was very clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. I wish we were able to stay longer to enjoy it more, including the hidden speak easy! Nicole was very responsive and accommodating. Overall, a great stay! "

"When I arrived at the Motel. I noticed the sign said no pets allowed. The door to the office was locked and it was late in the afternoon A lady opened the door and went behind the front desk and she seemed agitated but she continues to check me in and I asked her about the no pets allowed sign and she said they they didn't allow pets but I asked her than how come it's listed on the hotels.com website as dog friendly and I showed her that it was listed as dog friendly then she mentioned that she would have to ask her husband permission and he responded back saying that he would allow my dog if I paid an extra $25.00 fee and I did pay the fee and I was checked in. The motel was decent and roomy. There was a convenient store next door to the motel and there was a Mc Donald's and a Starbucks across the street from the motel. The place was usually quiet but there were occasional cars screeching tires and speeding down the road. When I checked out of the motel, I took my dog out to go the bathroom but he couldn't wait and he began to pee in a grave area in front of my room and the Manager saw me and he appeared to be very upset but I took my dog off the property and he pooped in the grass on the edge of the road near the motel then I cleaned up after my dog and I returned the key to the manager in the office and he snatched the keys out of my hand and said nothing as I left. I'm disappointed in my stay and I won't be returning to that property again. "

"No amenities at all save two cups, two lounge chairs and two beds."

"This was our third visit to Rocky Top since 2022. We just wanted peace and quiet during such a busy holiday season. Rocky Top never disappoints. Comfortable accommodations. Wide open spaces to roam. Great sunsets. Nice patios to enjoy the pleasant evenings. And our pets are welcome to join us. Until next time.."
