Winter activities can include hunting, skiing, snowshoeing, or just reading a book and watching it snow. Lead and Deadwood are 20 miles away. Hill City is 25 miles away. Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse are approximately 30-35 miles away. There are roads out of Rochford in every direction leading toward a Black Hills adventure.
