“We loved our stay at Eagle’s Nest - Main House. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and there were also plenty of entertaining things to do. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. The kids loved the pool, which was one of the biggest draws for us. The house was stocked with a lot of beach towels, it was nice to not have to bring our own. The property was big and we had quite a few scavenger hunts and a fire w/smores. “This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is……

We also loved the screens in the kitchen that shared travel details, VRBO rules, and wifi. Everything was easy and accessible. Excited to hear about them adding a wedding venue on the property soon! Such a cool place to stay and so close to the lakes!”
