I asked the front desk where the guest bathroom was, but was told there was no public restroom available because it was under construction. “The property is in need of renovations - and some are happening! That is wonderful! What isn't wonderful is booking a room at a hotel where work is being done when the fact that work is being done is not advertised! Beware, if you book a room there, they may be hanging drywall to the wall right behind your headboard while you're trying to get some rest!”

“Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early.”

Place was old and smellly like wet dog Bathroom was old with cracks around the tub and hardly no caulking around the tub Carpet looks dirty in the room but the final straw after checking the bed was all thr PUBIC hair and hair on the box springs when it had not been cleaned during changing sheets. With the money these people make it should be upgraded Also wanted to charge 100.00 damage fee to check in. Ist time booking this Expedia they should not represent this……

“staff was great. the place is under renovation but construction is everywhere in the building. hot water in the shower is almost luke warm. and even after staff cleaned the room ants continued to be a problem.”

“Booked online friday afternoon for a king size for the same night. I get down the road from the hotel around 4 to find a message on my Expedia account saying they are sold out sorry. Turns out they werent sold out when I booked my room, they gave my room away to someone who walked in and didnt tell me until 4. So if your from out of town, you might want to call to make sure your room wasnt given away before you get there.”
