Great house, quiet location.

The only negative was the pool. Filthy dirty, pieces of rotting 2x4 floating in pool. Tested pool with my testing strips. Chemical balance was off. Paid extra for heat, no pool guy all week. Probably should have notified owner of bad pool condition.

Great house!

Great house and the folks at Islands of Hilton Head were really nice and super responsive and helpful. Pool area was fantastic and water was clean and well maintained. Thanks for the stay!

Wonderful week

We wish all bedrooms connected to bathrooms. Overall it was a great place to bring our family. Having a screened in pool was a big plus!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had the privilege to stay at Water Oak location. The past three years, it has become a tradition to stay in HH with our daughter and her family. This is our first Sea Pines stay. It will now be our “go to” base. We love it!We loved the responsiveness of the management company, location, and property.We returned to our home in Asheville and two days later Helene hit. It is the reason our review was delayed. We have been fortunate not to have experienced the tragedy as severely as some neighbors and friends. We feel especially blessed to have had the time together without a care in the world. It has made all we are enduring today so much more manageable!

Likely wouldn't rent again

Overall, the property has a lot of potential, but the management company is not doing a good job. We rented the property for the heated pool, and were assured before we rented that this was possible. We arrived on Saturday, and knew right away that something was wrong and notified the rental company. The heater was never fixed, despite my repeated attempts and calls. We would not have rented this home, if not for the pool. The location is not great. Overall, we would not rent again and are very disappointed in the house and management company.

Fall Family Trip

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house! It was open, spacious, clean and filled with amenities that were useful. We loved the outdoor tv area by the pool. Spent alot of our time there. The house wasn't close to the beach but since it was off season we could park at Sea Pines Beach Resort parking lot. I would not rent the house again for couple of reasons.1. Every single bed was uncomfortable! I wish I would've listen to the other reviews! The owners need to invest in new mattresses asap. The room with 2 beds, the bed by the window is wonky and unstable. Both king size beds had humps in the middle making you roll to the edge of the bed. 2. Midway into our stay the next door neighbor installed cameras on their house facing directly into the pool area. That is very creepy and unsettling. We limited our time by the pool after that.Too bad for the beds and creepy neighbor cause I would've loved to book again for next October.

Quick getaway

Very cute property. Comfortable stay with a few minor issues. Minor Issues: The curtains in master leading to the pool were kind of dirty but overall all rooms inside were nice. The dining table did not appear to be clean. The pool perimeter was somewhat moldy and the walls looked worn. There was a screen door leaning near the pool. Pool was nice but not great lighting at night. Upon arrival, I'd presumed everything was ready so we jumped into pool to enjoy and the next day, someone arrived to do maintenance on the pool; after we'd been in the pool for hours. Very unnerving in a covid and monkeypox era. This was disturbing and made me question the overall cleanliness of the property. Note: When the pool maintenance guy arrived and let hinself in, he entered the property without any notice or identification of himself. My daughter was alarmed and informed me and then I approached him; very scary! I was not informed that he'd be coming so just saw a man inside while just me and my daughter are traveling, was really scary. Who else may just enter; this ruined the experience and we left on the next morning.

Nice weather

Stayed at this location for a week, house was nice and spacious for 6 people, swam in the pool a few times but I should have ordered the pool to be heated. Convient location to the beaches. Be warned of the local traffic they can be a bit inpatient if you are doing even 1 mph below the speed limit. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great stay

We had a great time. There were 3 adults and 4 kids under age 10 with us. The house was clean and large enough to fit all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and very close to the grocery store. The pool was great. We suggest heating the pool as the enclosure is very shaded and there is not a lot of sun to naturally heat the pool. We also asked to have the pool cleaned during the stay as after 5 days of constant swimming it turned green but the team was unable to accommodate. The room with 2 queen beds actually had 2 full beds so it was a little small and the other two rooms the beds were uncomfortable but it was a fabulous stay and we would recommend this property.
