The kitchen had everything needed for a longer stay and one of my favorite parts of our stay…lots of extra clean, very soft blankets for everyone. "Great location. I did not realize it was a house and they were renting me upstairs, the main level and the basement as three different vrbos. So there's people in the basement making noise. The worst part is there is a lot of free roaming dogs and the neighbor's dogs were always barking and trying to attack us. It's just hard to beat this quality, peace and tranquility for the price anywhere on VRBO.We've stayed at dozens of properties over the many years and this one just has everything you need if you aren't looking for a tourist thirst trap. If a relaxed, quiet country experience is what you are looking for near a quiet town this just can't be beat! It's our country cabin home away from home now! The hosts are super responsive, the cabin is clean and beautifully appointed, and perfect for a romantic getaway or the entire family, but just close enough to Red River Gorge and other attractions to be accessible without the tourists."
