“Beautiful”

“This was a perfect home base for exploring this coastal area (redwood parks, Brookings in Oregon, Crescent City and its nearby beaches) for a couple days. The unit was very comfortable and is located in a nice, quiet, wooded neighborhood just outside of Crescent City. Aneka was very friendly and we had a lot of privacy.”

“The property is in a nice location. It is very close to the beach for great views, and low tide tidal pool exploration. It is also in a convenient proximity to the Redwood forests. We were able to explore the forest as close as 20 minues away, and alo went further along the beautiful highway 101 south for hours of amazing Redwood exploration. We had text and phone contact before the stay with the owners, and they were very nice and helpful with their suggestions for places to see, and what to……

“Place was well organized, I have a group of friends and we do traveling remote work, convenient to hiking, close to the beach, and everything was as advertised. The trampoline was a hit with the group and 10 of us were comfortable in the house throughout the stay. Furnishing was nice and adequate and in like-new condition. The yard was very well cared for and we got to catch everything in bloom in the spring, spectacular!”

“First off, thank you for welcoming us! The house was cozy and in a great location, and came with lots of little extras that made it more relaxing. The backyard was great, especially if you have pets or little kids. The park is directly across the street which is also very convenient. The beach is a short walk from the house, and it’s a great little area that wasn’t busy at all! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again!”

“1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. The area had a recent fire but is recovering nicely. 3. the camp itself is worth the trip 4. Communication from expedia to vrbo to Dan Sasquach was severely lacking. ”

“The cabin and property was absolutely wonderful. The water pressure in the shower was great, the bed was very comfortable. We had good internet access and it was nice having a lot of movies to watch. We had total privacy and many places to be outside to enjoy listening to the river surrounded by nature with my wife and dog. We would recommend this to anyone! The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners Patti & Bob thought of everything in stocking the cabin with the basic essentials. They……

“This was a great home base, walkable to the Harbour with lots of amenities. The only unfortunate thing was the traffic. The bedroom is right above 101 and you hear braking and accelerating cars all night long. The owner does everything he can to minimise the noise with earplugs and a white noise machine, but we weren’t able to sleep much. If noise doesn’t bother you, this is a great find, definitely worth the price.”

“We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts.
