「Great hotel right in the town of Gettysburg —close to all the action. Very nice lobby that offered free Gettysburg posters and free apple sauce made in the farms nearby . Breakfast is satisfying . Parking is easy . Staff was kind and helpful —giving recommendations on where to go and housekeeping had extra pillows . Comfortable bed and temperature in room . Recommend highly to stay here when visiting historic Gettysburg .」
「The front desk staff were very friendly. The room offered bigger space than expectations. The whole experience would be better if there is an available free parking lot.」
「We stayed in one of the cottages. Easy check in and check out. We had a minor problem with the toilet and it was fixed super fast. Probably a strange thing to notice but the cottage inside and out was free of cobwebs and spiderwebs. I, for one, appreciated that immensely! I enjoyed the privacy. You can hear traffic but overall the place was quiet and clean. The pond is beautiful. If I'm ever out that way again, I definitely would stay here. Had a great time!」
「My stay at Colton Motel was mixed. The room was very clean — the bed linens, towels, bathroom, and floors were all spotless, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful. The parking is very easy and the location is walkable and convenient.
However, I found the price to be higher than expected for what is offered. The room lacked basic amenities such as seating, and the bed pillows were uncomfortable. Additionally, the heater was not functioning properly, requiring the use of a provided blanket...
「The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Jessica had to deal with a power outage in the area. She went above and beyond to help everyone deal with the difficulties or wait to have to check in. Luckily the utility company had the power up and running earlier than anticipated. The room was very clean and comfortable.」
