Staff is super friendly and helpful. Need to get top floor remodel finished. On previous stay i enjoyed many rooftop b-fast. Please don't use first floor stairway as storage for construction materials - unsafe during an evacuation. would stay again.

Exremely convenient for younger travelers
I have stayed here many times and enjoyed the hotel. It is located right on Bui Vien street in the heart of backpacker area. Restaurants, clubs, bars, shops, Circle K are just outside the hotel, so it is extremely convenient. The beds are comfortable and that is important to me as cleanliness and modern styling, and most importantly not very expensive. Because it is surrounded by clubs, it is rather noisy at night with music blasting from the club across the street and the club next door. If you are a light sleeper, then this hotel is not for you. For me it is the same as having the radio on while I sleep so it did not bother me. The breakfast was ok, only few selections, and not a buffet. The only downside is that there is currently construction going on to renovate the hotel and they start work at 8:00am. Hopefully they will finish soon.

The only thing it they fixing the room nextdoor, everyday we only can sleep 3-4hrs and the noise wake us up. And they wont change the room for us.

The hotel was under full renovation whereby the entrance was block by scaffolding and it was very dangerous to go into the lobby. The lobby was torn out with full renovation and materials were everywhere. Should not have accepted guests as I feel it was dangerous for them to move in and out of the hotel.

The rooms and the lobby doesn't look clean like the pictures. The room is dirty there is Aunts that bites you all night, the music is loud u will hear it everyday till 4am on top of that the staff offers u prostitutes at night. No respect no shame.

Initially we were incorrectly put into a smoking room which smelt very strong and no windows.. Felt like shoe box, we requested to change, they come and inspected first and agreed that the room smelt. after changing the room we were put in the front where the night clubs are and the windows were ajar not sound proof so it was like being in the nightclub.. Couldn't change rooms again, lucky we had earplugs.. Too expensive for what it was, stuff not friendly.. Wouldn't go back.

Ant gonna stay here again .
Ants in my pants, ants in my coffee, ants in the bed. Literally everywhere there were ants. When I asked about switching they had nothing available. The hotel is in the middle of everything which is great unless you want to sleep. You can feel and hear the clubs and bars next door. We lost power twice in one night. Wifi was spotty at best.

One of the busiest street for tourist, night life here is really live. About the hotel, great shower stand, love it! AC in our room is in question, when you leave it turn off, then you come back to a HOT room, no way to leave it on. The AC took almost all night to cool the room down. Here is the trick, we left the key in the room to have AC on, then tell the front desk to open the door when we come back. Room is bit small compare to other hotels in the neighbor area, but not to cramp. Breakfast need to upgrade something more than 4 items on menu. Might stay again, probably my 3rd option if the other 2 are out.

We managed to book a day on the 7th floor but we didnt like it and was shifted to 3rd floor. The rooms at the 3rd floor is much better than the 7th floor with window view that is very noisy.

Hotel by Nightclub, Staff not interested but clean
The hotel itself is in good condition, clean and tidy. The service at the hotel was very poor and the staff not interested in engaging with you, it appears either their English is poor they cant be bothered to listen to you. The hotel is located literally over a loud nightclub/bar, which is pretty noisy if you are on of the front bedrooms. Unless you are looking to go out partying every night I would not recommend this hotel.

Good location but very noisy at night from many local restaurants and bars even though our room had no window. Room itself was quite good. Bed was a bit hard for me. Breakfast on the rooftop was good, coffee was amazing. Some of the desk staff did not speak much English but they tried to help. Be aware that minibar charges have to be paid in cash.

Good hotel smack bang in the middle of Bui Vien which seems to be the major bar and restaurant street in saigon Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast ok. Good wifi throughout. Clean room. Nice bathroom. The hotel has obviously been renovated recently. Bui vien does have a lot of bars and restaurants but also a lot of working girls in this area. Aside from that it's a great location. Walking distance to Ben than market (or numerous taxis on bui vien st day and night), walking distance just to the independence palace and war museum also. Staff also helped me book my onward flight online through a Vietnamese website - the girl working during the daytime on reception is really very helpful and good English. Overall a very comfortable stay

This is a small street , a party street very noisy and fun. Backpacker, nightlife area. This is the nicest hotel on Bui Vien street in the center of the action. The hotel is safe and clean.

Handy location.
The hotel is in a handy location in district 1 , a minute away from the bus pick up points in De Than. We had to leave early and they attempted to accommodate us with an earlier breakfast .Nice tkdy hotel with helpful staff . The only negative being our non smoking room smelled of smoke .

This is a very nice hotel, excellent location and very helpful staff. The only negative thing I can say is that the rooms do get the noise from nearby bars etc, it's not unpleasant but you can hear it. Everything else is very good.

Fantastic location in Zone 1. Clean and tidy budget hotel. Staff very helpful and available at all times. Close to many good resteraunts and bars. Well in fact too close to some bars that are open till 4am. If you like to sleep in a nice quiet environment this is not the place to be. The noise traveled through the block from the bar next door but one. Pounding music till 4 - 5 am some mornings.

Great place. Very modern and friendly staff.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Aston hotel. It is only a year old so everything is modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location. We walked to the palace and war museum. Loads of pubs and clubs near by which is the one negative. The club next door has music until 4am and we could hear it from our room. Other rooms may be different.. Didn't bother us to much.

dont be fooled be the pictures!!!!
Rooms were to small and they kept charging extra fees without telling you until check out. The pictures seem to be big and great but the rooms are so small.

Convenient location for backpackers
Hotel is located on Bui Vien St., which is in the central backpacker area in HCMC. Around the hotel, there are many travel agencies, and foreign exchange locations. We booked our tour and bus to Cambodia nearby, very convenient. The hotel staff is generally helpful, i.e. helped us book the water puppet show, lend us umbrella, etc. The only thing is there also a lot of pubs and bars, so it's a bit noisy at night. If you are light sleeper, might want to reconsider. But if you want the location, all the hotels in that area are effected by the noise, just deal with it.

When I arrived the hotel name is amazingly turned to "Valentine Hotel". The room is tidy and clean. But you can't escape the noise from neighbouring bars which keeps beating until 5 in the morning I believe. Location is good. Near bus station and in the popular District 1.

ブイビエン通りに面しているので、夜は4時くらいまでガンガン音が流れて寝れないです。 朝まで騒ぐ方にはいいかと思います。 部屋は広くで快適でした。金庫はなかったです。 シャワールームの天井の壁紙は剥がれてました。 なぜかテレビがつかず、スタッフを呼んで明日直すということだったのですが、次の日外出して戻って来ると壊れたままでした。
