"The property itself was beautiful but unfortunately at this time of year (early May) there was a lot of sargassum so we did not enjoy the resort's beach. The pool was a nice sub. The food at the local restaurants in San Pedro were better than the resort's restaurant but it was convienent and decent. Important to note that at the resort bar and restaurant they do not sell any hard liquor, only beer and wine. In comparison to another 4 star Belizian resort we had just stayed at, we did feel it was not as luxurious but overall clean, beautiful views, and fun diving experiences available. "

"This is an excellent resort! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean. We loved the turn-down service and fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was delicious, and the wait staff was very attentive. We rented a golf cart several times to venture into town, they were well maintained and comfortable. "

"The whole house and property were great including the pool. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location was great. The upstairs deck was fantastic. The bedrooms were as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having access to the pier. The games in the sand were a nice touch. The host arranged for our golf carts to be there upon arrival. The host also provided us with a contact for fishing and snorkelling. Overall it was a great experience. The only think that would have made it better would be no sargassum but that had nothing to do with the host or the property. "

"Unfortunately, the major complaint was the noise coming from the kitchen area very late at night. It started upon arrival, but we did not know at the time where the noise was coming from or what it was. It sounded like someone moving furniture and metal dropping to the floors, etc. In additional loud voices. It reached a peak on Saturday, April 25 going into Sunday morning at 1am. Our room was on the 3rd floor and at 1am on April 26, I went downstairs to seek the security guard, as the lobby was closed. I explained to him about the noise and he proceeded to follow me toward my room and he immediately recognized that it was coming from the kitchen area on floor 2. He said that he was going to ask them to keep it down. I expressed concern that this should not be happening this late at night, etc. Shortly after, the noise continued, but it was not long lasting. The next morning, I registered a complaint with reception and the rep was surprised and said that the restaurant usually closes at 9:30pm. That evening at around 10pm on Sunday April 26, the noise began again and seemed to have stopped around midnight. I knew it was our last night and upon check out on Monday April 27, I asked if the incidents were logged in and they had no record at all. In addition, the manager happened to be there and I explained the whole situation. None of this should have ever happened at a resort (especially very late at night). The complaint should have been recorded somewhere. "

"I think I'm going to be a broken record when it comes to reviewing this house. It is remote and private, very clean and well maintained by the caretaker Erik and his dog Brownie. They're what put the stay over the top for us. Erik had golf carts waiting at the house as well as a cab that met us at the airport on arrival. He and Brownie made sure we knew all the spots to try out and Erik went above and beyond preparing the fish we caught on our fishing trip. For me, my only issue, (it's not a complaint) was the fact that the house changed ownership between the time we reserved it and the time we stayed. Again, not a complaint, it just meant that communication with the owner was non-existent. Erik more than made up for that fact. If you're looking for someplace private to relax and unwind but not too far away from town, this is the place. Clean rooms, great AC and great views. Erik does a great job keeping this place running smoothly."

"We had a great stay outside of San Pedro and Ocean's Edge was an amazing condo. Very clean and the beach was right there as we stepped off the back patio. Communication was excellent and Ester jumped right in to help us take care of the few minor things that popped up during our stay. "
