The location of this property is perfect IMO. It is close enough to the beach, stores and restaurants but also has some privacy in the back yard which with the pool was very nice. We went there knowing that there was no place for clothing in the bedroom and that the kitchen was a bit lacking in term of utencils etc. so this wasn't a big deal. What we did discover was that while the unit is updated, it could have been cleaner and the mattress is in need of replacement. The cleanliness was just ok - the floors were vacuumed and the bathroom was ok. We did notice after spilling some water that the floors were in need of a deep clean. Also, the walls were very scuffed and the unit is in dire need of a painting. Again, not a deal breaker but it wasn't as clean as some others stated in their reviews. The biggest flaw in our experience is that you could hear people talking in the next unit at normal conversational levels. This was a problem when there was a sick child coughing for several hours one night (early a.m.). There should have been more sound proofing installed when these units were renovated. We also received a text on Wednesday asking us if we were planning to leave before 10 a.m. on Thursday. Our checkout wasn't until Saturday. When I brought this to their attention, AMI Locals was very quick to respond and recognize the error. They did send me numerous versions of the same apology throughout the day which became annoying.
Overall - pretty good but for the money, we expected a bit more.
