Perfect for a small family

We stayed in unit 4 (not Oceanview). The walk around to the beach was like getting a surprise each morning. Our 11 & 9 yr old slept on the pull out sofa bed. The unit was very clean with what felt like all new furniture. The beach was not crowded at all, I guess due to its position between access points. This was our first visit to Anna Maria and it left a great impression.

Amazing Holmes Beach Stay

We previously summered in a Longboat Key. We always wanted to give Anna Maria Island and a Holmes Beach a try. We loved everything about the area, and we will be going back to Holmes Beach and the beach cottage for sure!

Lovely condo on Anna Maria Island

Ours was in the front, but all you have to do is walk around the back and the beach is right there. Very convenient for beach walking and sunset watching. Beautifully furnished - we loved having two couches! Also, within walking distance of grocery store, Walgreen's, bagel shop, trolley stop. On site laundry a plus.

And this little place provides me with that and more in the very best location. The unit gives me easy access to everything I could possibly need or want. Musty and dark

All but 2 windows were screwed & painted shut - even the windows in the bedroom. It was impossible to air it out. I tried odor absorbers and air fresheners but the musty smell remained. I called about the bedroom window not allowing emergency egress & no one returned my call.

Beautiful

Was disappointed that no one contacted me about how to get keys , no address given. Fortunately I know island fairly well and knew kinda where property was. Very thin walls, guest in front of us was very loud , took a bath at 1:30 am , could hear squeaking of them in tub, then another night they were fighting and slamming doors. Guest next to us you hear hear them clomping across floor. We did have 3 good night’s sleep,. Electrical outlet in bedroom very loose and was afraid to use it. Toilet had to be flushed twice a lot of times, sometimes water wouldn’t fill bowl for proper flush. Loved the deck and swings. Overall our experience was good , had to take into consideration that not all guests are respectful of others.

Excellent Stay at Four Beach Lovers Unit 4

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A Summary of our experience. First of all, we downloaded the app and got text messages about when our unit was ready. The app told us where to go to get our keys. It was a very easy process. We parked at our rental that came with one spot per unit. The place was spotless and smelled clean. Everything was in its place and looked like a hotel. There was lots of room to unpack our things and to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes. We only needed to get trash bags.A toaster and coffee maker were also available.The bedroom had spare sheets and lots of extra beach towels. There were 2 tvs with cable and the wifi was good!Laundry was on the side of the building and it was free and the machines did a good job.There were charcoal grills available and chairs water toys in a shed.The beach was sooooo close that we walked barefoot to it. Honestly this part of the beach was the least crowded and the cleanest with the clearest water. We never had to drive to a different beach. We had the sunset almost to ourselves.The not so great things...Water pressure in the shower is really bad. My hair never felt clean unfortunately.The bed is sagging in the middle.Some floor boards had rough edges that would pop up a little so had to be careful. Every step you take in the unit sounded loud. We could hear our neighbors walking and the walls are so thin I could hear them stir coffee in the morning. You have to hope for courteous neighbors. I wish theyd add insulation for the future. The office and management... was amazing and friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to rent through them again. Felt like they were always available though we did not need them. We forgot a pillow behind and they found it and shipped it to us the same day we called. It was amazing!All in all, we would rent this unit again. We would be even

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented beach lovers 4 many times over the past ten years, and number 3, and this past week we did have a great time as usual. Love the location. I think there needs to be more of a check for supplies prior to the next rental. No biggie, but there was no extra garbage bags to use. There were open cookies left in the cabinet. Also, the owner needs to supply a blanket for the sofa bed(only a very small one was available), beach chairs could be updated. You might laugh, but miss the little gift bag! Koosey, if that's the correct spelling. The little things count. Will be back!! Thanks.
