“My stay at the American was memorable. I was there for the monthly play reading and could not believe how pumping the restaurant was for a Monday night. Talk about vibe. Food was delicious, and the interior design was fun and energetic. Pat at the front desk was so helpful to me at check-in. I felt that, as a solo traveler, she gave me extra care. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.”

She responded in a rude and clearly annoyed tone, “Can I help you?” as if I was bothering her. I explained that I had a reservation, and she simply said, “Come back after 3:00,” with no effort to assist or provide any courtesy. Very poor customer service. “The room was cleaned every other day. The towels were replaced upon request. There were no information about the lack of cooking utensils. The staff was friendly but they had no training to inform us about the nearest restaurants, gas station etc. A list on their desk would have been helpful. The bar tender was alone and had no training to serve. breakfast was ok but you had to buy it. We had a problem with keys. The first day they deactivated although we had three night s stay. that……

“Adorable, well kept Hotel. No onsite restaurant but there are plenty of choices within 1 mile to 5 miles. There is a small refrigerator in the room where you can keep beverages. I plan on staying here again. ”
