We had a twin room, but it was on the first floor, it would have been nice if there was one on the ground floor, apart from that the staff were just lovely and very helpful. the dining room was very spacious and food was tasty. In the breakfast room the staff were again very helpful and chatty, the kitchen was very open to changing the menu for different tastes. We loved it and will return.

Excellent breakfast. Overall price was quite high for a country pub hotel, but I was well looked after and enjoyed being able to sit out on the patio dining area in the evening.

Property was as expected. Parking was plentiful, room was clean, food was good. Stayed here with my 85 year old mother-in-law who has mobility issues and is dairy, wheat and gluten free. Food was a little limited and the lack of a non dairy spread at breakfast was a surprise. however the staff went out of their way to accommodate her and as this was her first time in any hotel she loved it.

Gorgeous getaway

Wonderful few days away with my partner, staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the lady on reception (sorry I didn’t catch her name). Big comfy rooms, good selection of drinks and delicious food. Easy access to Nirvana spa and a firm favourite of ours, will return soon I’m!

Very comfortable stay. Room was quiet even though bar and restaurant are obviously popular. Amenities also included a hair dryer (which the listing didn't mention), magnifying mirror, tea/coffee and biscuits. Good internet signal. Would recommend.

Nicely appointed property, convenient for M3, bedrooms are nice, bathrooms lovely, but staff are exceptional. Were so accommodating with us after a very late night check-in, couldn’t have been more helpful.
