"The house was just as described. Very clean and in a cute neighborhood. It was a sketchy drive to the location from the interstate. I recommend not going down Franklin, which is where my gps guided us. We had no problem getting an uber to Bourbon, but it was farther than I expected. The beds were comfy and the coffee bar was on point. The showers had great water pressure and had a floor fan, which was a bonus for me."

"I had a good four nights at this cottage on the canal. It is clean and well stocked with all you need except for a tool to crush crab claws. A minor inconvenience. I was able to catch crabs at the end of the dock. I was able to launch beside the cottage and dock the boat just outside the door. Electric is available above the dock. The bed was comfortable and long enough for a 6’3” man. The furnishings are comfortable and clean and well suited for a group. Much of the canal is no wake. It did take some time for me to get to my destination. A nice surprise was the fishing log that other visitors have recorded their catch of the day including what they caught and where. If you are a light sleeper you will hear vehicles rolling by very early in the morning. But you have your boat just outside the door so you can get going anytime of the day."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lodge! Chris is an outstanding host and owner, and his pride in the property shows throughout. He is welcoming, responsive, and genuinely helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.The interior feels like new, with thoughtful updates, tasteful décor, and plenty of space to spread out, unwind, and relax. The bedrooms feature comfortable bunk beds, each with its own private bathroom and shower—a great combination of convenience and privacy.The oversized stocked kitchen and spacious great room make this an inviting place to gather. We especially enjoyed the coffee bar, huge big-screen TV, and comfortable reclining couches.There is also ample parking, with room for a boat trailer in front or alongside the lodge—a big plus for the boat owner. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay, this lodge is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!"
