「My husband and I were looking for a place to get away for a couple of days, and we found it here in Penrose, NC. Connie & David's cabin was clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The property was in a beautiful location and very well-kept. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the Brevard/Hendersonville area.」

It was odd because we got there an hour and a half after check in but they still were not done. Other than that, loved our stay!」

One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. 「This was a great trip overall, and this property really added to our long weekend experience. I had been to Asheville several times, but I usually stay closer to town and walkable to most downtown areas, so this was a wonderful balance of being able to enjoy the outdoor space while still being able to catch inexpensive Uber/Lyft rides when easier to leave the car parked at the cabin.」

「This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend.」

「Cool little cabin in a great location. It's secluded and quiet. It has a nice little outdoor area for a fire. Close to several cool outdoor activities. We spent several nights. We went to Mt. Mitchel, Chimney Rock State Park, The Biltmore, and several hikes and overlooks on the Blueridge Parkway. The host was a great communicator. Experience was excellent!」

From spending mornings with coffee and a book with the sound of the stream to afternoons walking the trails to evenings catching up on movies (after some time in the hot tub), I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
