Beautiful Views of Lake Catherine Cozy Comfy Quite Area Cabin Cottage

Unique cabin on bluff overlooking Lake Catherine, about 4 miles outside of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

I accept DOGS, but they must have PRIOR APPROVAL. Please check in with me before booking. There may be a pet fee charged.

Just the right size for a couple or a family of 4. Beautiful lake views from the front room, living room and deck. Lots of wildlife.

The cottage consists of one bedroom and one bathroom with and additional sleeping area on the glassed-in front room. There is a queen size memory foam mattress in the bedroom and a full-sized futon in the front room. If you have a boy and a girl, I also have a blow-up mattress just right for one or the other, just let me know.

Vaulted ceiling in combination Living room-kitchen.

Kitchen has all new cabinets, above the stove microwave, new fridge. Pots, pans and dishes included to make sure you can cook your own meals. I have also included a coffee pot and toaster.


The bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Please be aware of this, as it may be a problem with more than a couple staying.

This is one of the most restful places I have ever lived. The road is off the beaten trail, and only the few neighbors will drive by.

The deck is wonderful, nice place to sit and enjoy the sunrise, a nice drink and beautiful lake views.

Really not a good place to swim unless you are adventurous. You can walk down to the lake on public access steps, but, it is a steep climb up, and there is NO BEACH or DOCK just a bank. VERY STEEP climb. There is a public water access just up the road where you can launch a boat or fish. Water can be very cold here since it comes from below the dam up stream.

There is off the road parking at the back of the house, several steps up to the parking area.

Quiet and cozy

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Knotty Cabin. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and fresh everything was, and the charming decor gave the space a cozy feel. The detailed directions to the designated parking area were spot-on and made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the couches were just as relaxing. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Weekend Getaway

We own our own business and live on-site. The only way to not work 24/7/365 is to leave! We chose the Hot Springs area because it was less than a 3-hour drive for us and we wanted to RELAX. We were very pleased with the cabin and the view. It is located in a very quiet area, you can see other residences but you feel secluded. Morning coffee on the deck with the sun coming up, birds chirping, and lake views was perfect. It's a cozy, comfy cabin perfect for a get-away like this!

Way smaller than it looked, bedroom light never went off, steps down to the room were natural rock, me n my 76yr old mother in law fell at the property, she was hospitalized for 3days due to her injuries, including needing blood, this might have been a ok spot for a couple the walkway is very steep, n you had to park at the top of the hill.....no i didn't enjoy my stay, details of property should be disclosed, i never would have chose this particular property if i would have known about access

Bathroom toilet too short and in tight spot. Outdoor seating for people who want to smoke only. Couldn't open any windows to enjoy the beautiful weather. Road to cabin very narrow. Beautiful view with a clean place to stay.

Overall this was a neat little cabin. Perfect for a small family or couple looking to escape for a few days. My husband and I are on kinda hefty so the bed was honestly uncomfortable. It’s a soft memory foam mattress. We prefer something harder that’s not so bad on the hips. But that is just a preference. Otherwise, it was well stocked and a great experience. I would definitely return if the mattress was more comfortable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot with us!

Quaint lil River Cabin

My partner and I enjoyed staying in this quaint little river cabin. Plenty of room for a couple of kids had we not left them at home. We love being out of town, but just 10 minutes from Hot Springs downtown. The host was very responsive to all of our needs.

Beautiful!

The pictures don't do this place justice! It was so beautiful and peaceful there. We enjoyed waking up in the mornings, drinking our coffee on the porch and looking at the water and mountains. Melanie is so sweet and has great communication. Definitely a 10/10 experience for us and pur dogs!

Peaceful stay

My significant other and I really just needed to get away. This cabin was perfect. The price was reasonable, location was beautiful, and we were allowed to bring our small dog who really loved chasing her balls in the crunchy leaves. As a matter of fact, there’s probably some left behind. It was exceptionally quiet, and even though there are neighbors, we were able to keep to ourselves. The cabin is within a 10 minute drive to downtown which made getting places convenient. The view was also quite beautiful, And we often spent long hours on the deck. There is no washer and dryer. There is an air conditioner/heating vent located right where your feet go for the toilet, which can be quite brisk in the middle of the night; however, it was an exciting discovery and did not cause any issues whatsoever. We loved our stay and we would definitely be back.
