Hilltop Cottage with room to roam on 20 acres. NO CLEANING FEE

Plenty of private space.
Beautifully newly remodeled 1950 Farm House. This cottage is on 20 manicured acres with access to the properties fire pit and a private pit in the front yard. Plus, lots of walking areas on the property. There is a nice pond and woods view from the living area.
It is just a few minutes from downtown and bathhouse row, and 1 minute off of Central Avenue. And just 1 minute from groceries and a great liquor store. There are restaurants 2-4 minutes away. Lake Hamilton Marinas and boat rentals are 2-3 minutes away.
The cottage is 600 feet off of the road with paved driveway which gives a secluded private feeling. The home is about 500 feet from main house with privacy fencing between. For colder months there is a wood burning stove with firewood provided.
Just outside the front door there is a wood deck with rockers to enjoy the property from.
The home sleeps 4. The main bedroom is a new queen size with new mattresses and bedding. The second bedroom is a 2 mattress day bed. Both day bed and mattresses are new.
The home is fully updated and renovated . All furnishings are also new.
Enhanced cleaning practices are being used due to Covid-19.
Guests need to be aware that for the protection of their vehicle to not park directly under the large trees that overhang parts of the driveway.

Perfect little cottage for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! Extremely clean, well equipped & with comfortable bedding as well! Nice and updated decor! Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful

Brad and Devon were great hosts, and the property was terrific. Drinking coffee while watching the deer graze and squirrels play was a wonderful way to start our 35th wedding anniversary. You are extremely close to all the major attractions in the area, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Thanks again for the great memories. Brandon and Veronica.

Beautifully appointed cottage very close to town, yet far enough out to provide a peaceful country setting. Super clean, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay! Hosts are wonderful- we definitely want to stay here again!

Sweet cottage

The cottage is clean amd nice. It's out of town a little bit but that's what we like about. Wild life all around amd a quiet neighborhood. This is our 3 year staying here and we will be back.

Beautiful Home

Wonderful place to stay and the location is so pretty. The entire house was beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable beds and very nice furnishings. Lots of extra nice touches. It sits on top of a hill and the surroundings are gorgeous. Brad and Devon are lovely hosts and very helpful. The next time I am in Hots Springs I will definitely stay here again.

Great Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed the property! Very nice, lots of wildlife. The owners took great efforts to let us have our privacy. We saw them once, and it was just a friendly wave! We will be back.

Absolutely amazing!

The cottage and the property is amazing! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft! Loved all the decor! Brad and Devon are great to work with and have thought of everything! It is definitely a home away from home! It is a country setting that is very close to town. I recommend this property and will be staying here again!

Great Weekend Getaway

This was such a lovely place! We visited Brad and Devon's cottage for a quiet long weekend with our kids, and it was wonderful. The cottage is gorgeous, and clearly very well cared for. We cooked all of our meals at the house, and the kitchen had all of the basics we needed. Our kids loved exploring the woods and playing soccer on the big front lawn. Brad and Devon were great, attentive hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Cottage and Property

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilltop Cottage. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this was the best yet. Owners thought of everything, The cottage is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and had comfortable furniture including the queen bed. It did not seem like a vacation rental, it felt like home. Entire property including the cottage is very well maintained and taken care of. The cottage sits on a beautiful wooded property filled with wildlife. We will definitely stay again if in the Hot Springs area.

Far Exceeded Expectations

Our stay at the Hilltop Cottage was perfect! I appreciated the care Brad and Devon put into their property. It is clean and tastefully decorated with little touches to make you feel comfortable and at home. I loved that we could utilize the whole property. My boys (3,6) loved exploring the woods, pond and play scape. That was such a bonus! 10/10 recommend!!

It got the job done

It is a place to stay but not a place to enjoy. The furniture and beds were uncomfortable, the lack of a normal trash can in the kitchen made a week long stay awkward, and the second bedroom was poorly lit.

Relaxing

The cottage was super clean and comfortable. The decor of the cottage was fantastic and the property was gorgeous. The wildlife was abundant especially the deer. The cottage is charming and would be great for a couples get away or a young family. Take the time to explore the property. My daughter loved the little lake(pond) we wish we could have stayed longer just so we could have spent the day exploring all the trails around hot springs and the property. The host was great at communicating including directions for the cottage. 100% happy with this stay. Will stay again.

Peace and Quiet

Our stay, although brief was a great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of "Big City" life in DFW. The cabin was filled with both rustic and modern charm. Firewood was already in both the chimney and fire pit just waiting on us to light them. The owners came over to greet us upon arrival and bearing a bottle of wine for us to help celebrate out anniversary. The property was 20 acres or oak and hickory tree and room to roam about the place. We'd definitely make reservations here again in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing Cottage

This is truly an amazing property. I'm a little surprised they allow children. The cottage has many very expensive antiques. Meet the owner and he showed us around their property. For us that was special. They have a beautiful place. Propane grill, fire pit with wood, extremely clean cottage. only minutes from Hot springs and Lake Hamilton. We saw several deer at dusk. The street address is correct, google may have you go on the street next to this. It's the second driveway on the left.

More lovely than in photos

This cottage is really stunning. The decor and small touches are just lovely. The posting on Vrbo does not do it justice. The owners were very communicative when needed. While it is very quiet and removed from anyone else on the property, the owners do also have their home on the big property. I’m not sure if that was posted in the listing but I know some people have strong likes/dislikes about such situations. They have done a good job putting a visual boundary between the two dewellings. The property is beautiful and close to the store and other amenities.

Tiny Gem on the hill.

This was the best little get away we had. It was such a pleasure to stay here. So quaint and charming. Smelled amazing and made you feel at home. The hostest with the mostest is what I am calling them! Communication was amazing, host were very friendly. They pointed out highlights of the property to us. We had no issues at all with our stay. On reading past reviews if you see any thing that may make u unhappy with this property just do all of us a favor don't book it so that those of us who LOVE it can stay there again. This listing has no room for petty betties to stay LOL. We will be back in the future. Thank you again so very much for the hospitality.

Great place

I came to town for a fishing tournament and only stayed one night but the house was easy to find and easy parking. The host was very accommodating and the house was very clean. This is definitely a place to stay if you’re coming into the lake Hamilton area.
