This hotel sits up on a hill in a beautiful location that is quite easy to get to. The room and lobby are clean and well maintained. The best part, however, is the staff who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk through the front door!

Christmas shopping stay
We were doing some Christmas shopping for our grandkids. Rather than driving 2 hours to shop and then 2 hours back home we got a room. It was a home away from home. The room was clean n the bed was extra soft. The staff were very friendly and the continental breakfast was superb. I always stay at Marriot Bonvoy locations and this one did not disappoint me.

Nice Stay
We didn’t want to be directly downtown so this was perfect. So many convenient stores within a few hundred yards. Breakfast was always hot and plentiful(eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, biscuits, gravy, apples, muffins) About 10 minutes from Oaklawn and 15 to downtown. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable.

Clean, but not comfortable
This property is nice and clean, with good service. But the bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever experienced. Between the terrible mattress and the noise (paper-thin walls), we got virtually no sleep.

Way better than we expected , its very clean, comfy bed and actual nice bed pillows. This might be a new fav hotel chain for us. We are only here a night but this is perfect for an extended stay. Lots of restraunts nearby and shopping.

Everything was smooth from check in to check out. The only complaint I have is that even though checkout time was 12 noon the housekeeping staff was on my floor (the 4th) making noise at 0845am.

I have stayed there three times now and the other two times were wonderful, friendly staff, clean room, nice pool area, great!! This last time, the room air conditioner would not shut off, the room stayed 64 degrees, asked for them to look at it as well as refill empty shampoo and body wash bottles, as I did not bring any with me because they provided them on the last two stays. I aslo have a local address, and was not told at any time that their policy is to NOT book a reservation with a local address, I can understand this if it is posted or noted somewhere, but the front desk person, Stephanie, proceeded to catch me as I was going out the door the morning after the first night and tell me in a very condescending way that I would not be allowed to book there again and if I tried, the reservation would be cancelled. I asked her when this policy was put in place and why I was not told one of the other two stays. They do not know the situation as to why someone who may have a local address is booking a room, spousal abuse, damage to home, personal time needed after taking care of elderly family daily during the week and when there is another family member to assist, the customer may have just wanted a nice place to relax and reboot. Very disappointed in a facility I have highly recommended in the past.

Upon arrival there is no covered unloading zone, it's a very awkward pull in situation, loitering people are hanging out front because the firepit it as the entrance, which is very off putting, hotel smells funky, room is outdated, bed is not comfortable, no rim on the shower, so water leaked out of the bathroom all over room floors, barely any hot water, breakfast was disgusting and tasted like a salt cube. Will NEVER stay in a towne place again!!
