「 K Bar S Lodge is fantastic! View of Black Hills is superb, rooms are furnished with excellent mattresses; reasonably priced meals in their cafe; very tasty complimentary breakfast buffet served in Gazebo with great menu options; gracious and friendly welcoming staff; 15 minutes from Mt Rushmore; Very Friendly guests week before Sturgis Rally! 'Little surprised' that guests are charged 18.5% on top of menu prices to pay salaries of wait staff. Then another tips is optional but...

「Charm! At first glance it's just a small town motel, but upon arriving it's clear that the rooms, at least what we had, are loaded with creativity and unusualness. This is not your basic small town motel. Plus, it matches the charm of Hot Springs. 」

「They reached out to us to make sure we had all our info for our very late self check in. The place was nice clean and SO quiet. We were in heaven, and sad we had to head out so early then next morning. We will for sure stay here when we come back! Thank you! 」

「We loved staying at Ghost Canyon Getaway! Our host, Mandy, was the best- great communication and super kind (she spent an hour of her time one morning helping us get our keys out of the locked rental car). The rental was clean and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable (the kids and my husband all said it was the best sleep we had on our trip). The location is perfect for visiting all around Black Hills. If we ever travel to South Dakota again, we will definitely stay here again! 」

「The overall stay was great. The property is centrally located to a lot of area activities, but off the beaten path, which we loved. It is very clean and maintained, and it felt like home away from home. We would stay again if we were ever in the area.」

「We had a large family gathering and stayed 3 nights at this beautiful property. It was perfect for our family of 20 that ranged from infants to grandparents. We would recommend this place to anyone! The slack line and play set on the property was a huge hit and eating outside on the large porch was so peaceful and relaxing. A really great place.」

We arrived and we were greeted by Deb as we were checking the place out before we went to look for our room. Very sweet lady! 「This is a great property. We have used twice and will again. Plenty of trailer room if going riding. Had 3 36 footers there and still room. Lots of room on the multiple decks. Handy location .」

「This spot had everything to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. It is the perfect location to explore the area and the room and home was both luxurious and homey feeling all at the same time. Deb and other guests were warm and welcoming to me and my dog and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. We would love to return and would definitely recommend to others!」
