There are several restaurants. One of them, Mexal, is open from 7am till 11:30 pm, save for 1 hour break between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. The other restaurants are for exclusive dining, and you need to reserve a table, preferably 24 h in advance. - The staff at the front desk, in the restaurants, and at the bars are all very friendly and helpful. They will assist you in any way they can to satisfy your requests. - My mistake: not bringing enough small denominations for tips. I brought 3× $50 in cash intending to tip, but there is no cash transactions possible in the hotel. Later, in the city of Cancún, I changed $70 for 1155 pesos, which took 20 minutes and shared it with my wife. I was able to tip some. But it could have been better if I had prepared better. - Allow 10 working days for your bank to get pesos. Don't wait till last minute.

Too much traffic in and out all times of day and night. People smoking weed in the rooms and outside. Carpet in the rooms are stained. Upon arrival in the room, discovered king bed was made with a twin sized skirted mattress pad to use as a blanket so we were freezing the whole night. Bed is way too close to the air conditioner. Bedding slides around and does not stay on the bed, signs of polyester type material. Breakfast was non existent. No way I would offer that as “free breakfast”. Will not be staying there again.

I booked this hotel because my last hotel the staff said the computer and printer did not work. So i canceled my last night to come here. Here at this hotel they have 2 computers and a printer tried to get on it staff member told me they both do not work. There excuse waiting for somebody to comr fix it been out for several weeks that is what the last hotel said. If i knew the computer and printer was not working i would not have booked this hotel.

Systemic issue with housekeeping
I think this place deserves 0 stars. Recently stayed and upon entering the room, my wife observed that the linens were dirty with stains and body hair. The comforter in the cabinet was also dirty. I called the front desk and staff member informed me he could give me another room as there was no housekeeping on duty. I went downstairs to get a new room key but there was a long line at the front desk. This room had acceptable bed linens so we moved all of our belongings to the new room. Also, even though new room was acceptable the bathroom was not cleaned properly, hair was still visible in the shower which I had to clean myself. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were also empty. I do not accept Ritz-Carlton type service but I believe it is reasonable to expect a clean and well-maintained hotel room. I also should not have had to wait in a long line to get a new room. The staff were nice and accommodated our request. But the whole event really inconvenienced my family as we had a wedding reception to attend to and we arrived late due to having to move rooms. I reached out to the GM after this and spoke to him over the phone. He seemed very defensive. Not once did he offer an apology which was disappointing. Not what I expected from Home2 Suites.

I like Jordan, the person handling the front desk. He was polite, assisted me with my luggage as I am a 73 year old Lady. I had called earlier and spoke to him about me arriving a little later than the check in time and he reassured me it was OK. You should give him a raise.

When prepaid and having to check out early neither hilton or expedia would do anything to refund over 1000 for the remaining stay, the hotel was dirty, the staff rude and uncaring. Frustrated when asked to do their job, on a simple request of a room refresh. I traveled with my dogs while reloacting and was going to be staying for two weeks, when I ran out of many things in my first two days they were Frustrated when I asked for a room refresh after a week. Since I had my dogs with me I needed to leave the room, and needed timing of how long to stay away with my small dogs. Which was unclearly communicated on timing and poorly done, as they didnt even leave me enough toilet paper for the rest of the night...

Thanks for providing your feedback. I understand how frustating it can be when you book a prepaid reservation and want to make changes but it does not allow for it. I do apoligize if anyone didnt give you assurances that we are always here to asist you while you are staying with us. I know having dogs travel with you can be a challenge. I would recommend telling us what your needs would be during the checkin process or in advance so we can better accommodate you better in the future.
