We loved our stay. We were welcomed wonderfully. The people were kind and warm, helpful, and attentive. Great location. The room we stayed in was beautiful and spacious with a privileged view.
Was in Brighton to see Eric Prydz concert. Needed somewhere straight forward to stay. This hotel is good - Clean, modern and friendly staff. I think the other negative reviews are quite harsh
I have read other reviews about this hotel after I had booked it, and those reviews were disgusting. Whatever people expect for the price of this hotel are beyond my reasoning. It was clean, fresh and every amenity in the room for a pleasent stay, which I most definitely had.

There was no toilet bathroom. Shower was good. Beds were comfortable. There was a TV and coffee maker. Access to room
Was complicated but there was someone on hand to help. It was better than I expected as some of the reviews were terrible.
Very quirky room and I loved it. My room was at the front so I had a little balcony that I relaxed on looking out over the square and sea. Great mattress and hot shower.
I recently stayed at X Hotel in Brighton, and while there were some initial issues with both rooms, the team was incredibly helpful and proactive in resolving them. They upgraded me to a fantastic suite and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The staff’s professionalism and commitment to excellent customer service really stood out, and I truly appreciate their efforts. Thank you for turning things around so quickly—I would happily stay here again!

Amazing location but the check in is extremely strange for this hotel and you have to pay an additional deposit when you arrive which is not stated anywhere. Won’t be coming back here.
Check in overall was really difficult, didn’t know where to go and instructions for the hotel were unclear.
Hotel is really clean and beds are pretty comfortable.
Weird noises in our room tho?
I had issues with checking in, but the staff helped me when I arrived at the hotel. The room wasn't as big as I expected and there was a compartment within the room that was the bathroom. There wasn't a balcony and, despite been at the back of the hotel, there was lots of noise which didn't allow us to sleep. The bathroom/compartment wasn't clean and we heard noises from there too.
The staff was rather friendly and tried to make our visit as pleasant as it could be.
I liked theLocation, public transportation, beach, restaurants, pubs and shopping.
What I didn't like was the lack of customer services, poor management, room was filthy, woken at 9am with a ceiling leak from shower above us and we were soaked, the water was literally pouring through the cceiling, contact the emergency number and the response was okay. No one showed up to investigate or to see how there customers were and to top it of I was looking for the room key and discovered a dead mouse under my bed along with some other furry stuff. NOT HAPPY AT ALL...
What we booked was a twin room, with a private bathroom. What we got was a double room, with a bathroom shared with the staff. The gentleman who checked us in (he was very nice and was kind enough to check us in early - no complaints about him!) even admitted it hadn't been cleaned yet. We had checked in early so understood. However, when we got back in the evening, the room was still not clean and the bed spread was damp from the room! The 'shared' bathroom had a poop left in it.
Honestly, what I'm most annoyed about is the price we paid. it was not worth £100 for the night. Would not stay again.
I liked the location of the hotel because it was convenient for quick access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars and public transportation.
What I didn't like was not being able to transfer to a different room in the property even though we were currently staying at the property and decided to extend our stay by 1 night from a regular room to a studio, we had to check out at 10am and return at 3pm, but for an additional fee of £10 you can check in at 2pm. We paid the £10 but our room wasn't ready for check in at 2pm or 3pm so we finally got in our room at 3:45pm. The studio consist of a small twin room with a microwave, refrigerator,toaster and kettle, 1 dinner plate 3 spoons and 1 fork.Bathroom had a partition wall that has a 2 foot opening from the ceiling leaving

I was on a short trip with my partner we had not been on vacation for over two years I thought this place was nice as the pictures on the website look amazing and showed rooms with a balcony under the superior double room tab . Leading up to my arrival I was bombarded with Wassap messages saying I needed to pay an extra fee for what I’m still unaware for what ..on my arrival I asked about the room with balcony and was told they don’t have rooms with balcony’s when I challenged that I asked for that the staff laughed at me . As well the room was terrible . The first night I tried to shower and the water literally dribbled out the shower head so could not shower even though I had been travelling from another country since 4am . As well I had requested a room with a bath tub and I got a room with a tub but no plug to actually plug the drain . The staff while cleaning the same afternoon were so noisy in the corridors basically from 3pm to 6pm it was loud and annoying when I approached theme staff aswell they said it is not noisy am and I said no the hotel is not noisy you the staff are they also looked at me in amazement . Please avoid I promise you I want my money back it was so terrible honestly please avoid at all costs .
Nice enough building and room. Clean bedding and bathroom, kettle provided. The guy who checked me in (Timi?) was really friendly.
However, they charge you a deposit that is not listed on the website and the whatsapp message and repeated late night calls make it sound like a scam.
I received a whatsapp message at 9.30pm the day before checking in telling me to click a link and either give £100 deposit that would be refunded within two weeks or pay £3 deposit that's not refundable. This should already be included within the room price!
Even though I contacted hotels.com and they confirmed I had no outstanding charges on my booking, I still had to pay the unmentioned deposit or I would have lost the booking and all the money I paid.
Very dishonest and scammy. The managers at X hotels have some things to answer for and it's made me question hotels.com as a whole as well, for a) allowing dodgy business like this on their platform, and b) being thoroughly unwilling to help customers when they have issues as a result of what is essentially false advertising

Was a surprisingly pleasant stay at this hotel, i was worried after reading some of the reviews but it was actually a nice hotel, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean and smelled fresh, some areas of cleaning had been missed but it wasn't a problem for us. The decor was so interesting and was nice to stay in a hotel with a bit of personality.
