"One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away...

3. Spirit of the river lodge

Urubamba

"This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character. Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well. Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly. The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. It’s a work in progress. Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village Overall, I’d come back and would recommend "

"Definitely one of the best Marriott I’ve ever stayed at… the location is amazing , the staff was amazing and extremely helpful at all times, the amenities were amazing and we took the opportunity to take many of the resort classes, such as cooking class and pisco sour tasting.
