The room was modern, clean, and perfect for two. I highly recommend the hotel if you are visiting Hudson. Unfortunately the Expedia picture and description did not match what was actually booked. This was not the fault of the hotel as their website accurately depicted the booking. Expedia needs to do better....

There was no hot water, lukewarm but not hot. There was not a bathtub, just a shower. Charged a resort fee but the "resort part, saunas, baths, etc. is still being constructed."The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The lack of hot water we realized was at the end of the nite when wanting a hot shower (10pm) so did not want to move rooms at that point, was only one nite.

The room was nice and clean, but the hotel itself was still under construction and it took 45 minutes for us to get in our room for check-in I was able to ask for extended check out and we got two complementary drinks from the bar but overall they should have waited to open

We loved our stay at the brand new Pocketbook Hotel! Our room was lovely and the bed/pillows were great.

This is a nicely designed brand new place with great atmosphere in a former factory. However it is quite noisy with no proper sound insulation from the floor above and the hallway, making it difficult to rest. The counter and sink in the bathroom are chromium steel. The sink is too small, which leads to water sitting all over the place. No hooks to place towels, very small mirror. No coffee or tea in the room. Overall a rather overpriced place that does not quite hold up what the photos promise.

The bathrooms were small and the arrangement a little inconvenient. The lime-washed walls and iridescent curtains in the room appeared to be stained but that may have been part of the design… small pieces the wooden floor were also coming up and tracking around the room.
