This place was perfect for our large group! It was so so close to the ski resort, grocery store, and had all of the kitchen supplies we needed including plenty of plates and cups. We didn't have time to try the hot tub but the sauna was great. Usually we have people on the couches but there were enough beds for everyone

The house was perfect for our annual friends gathering. It was clean and lovely, big enough for everyone and sat in a beautiful scenic spot. We have held this reunion for decades and this was another great one for us!

First time staying at this house since 2013 and it still is the perfect place. Location is key since you can walk to restaurants, etc. There have also been updates completed since 2013 but not so much that the character has changed. Valentyna (our host) was helpful throughout the booking process and answering any questions during our stay. We'll be back!

Valentyna was an excellent host and was readily available to answer all of our inquiries (re WiFi passcode, electric stove usage, detergent, trash). Our family enjoyed our stay and the children greatly enjoyed all the games in the basement. We took advantage of the lake and spent time fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The house was clean, and we appreciated the updated appliances (just the stove took some time to get used to). Kitchen was beautifully stocked as well. Our only suggestion for improvement would be the mattresses. We didn’t find most of the mattresses to be comfortable, especially most of the bunk beds and twin beds. Also, we wanted to provide a heads up to those traveling with elderly parents: there are a lot of steps to go down to the lake and the steps to the basement and attic are narrow and steep as well. This is not an issue for kids and the adults, just for elderly or those with mobility issues.

Exactly as advertised. The house was clean and equipped with one of the best kitchens in any place I've rented. Every appliance worked perfectly, which is surprisingly uncommon in lake houses. Our visit was in the summer, so I can't confirm how effective the heating is, but the air conditioning worked fine for us.The lake was very clear, and boats in good condition. Hot tub, sauna, etc. all functional and very clean too. The grill and fire pit were perfect. There was plenty of large logs for firewood, but I recommend bringing your own fire starter and kindling. You can buy these at the big grocery store 10 mins away by car. Great hiking in the area. The host was very responsive and accommodating.There are a couple things that weren't problems for us, but worth noting in case they matter to you:1. Not all bedrooms have air conditioning. At least (a) the bottom floor room with the queen and (b) the bottom floor room with the 2 doubles have no A/C.2. The top floor bedroom (with the 4 twin beds) has no door, so you can hear a lot of noise from the main kitchen and living room area

Sisters Reunion

Bobcat Lodge had everything we needed and more. The number of beds is excellent for a group of adults. The kitchen space is a little tight, so we suggest sharing food duties and everyone take a meal so there aren't too many people in the kitchen at one time. And ask the host how to work the stove top at the start of your weekend. Then, enjoy the house. It was warm and welcoming!

Great mountain retreat

We had a great stay at the Bobcat Lodge. The house was very clean, had plenty of space, and great communal spaces where we could all hang out and enjoy each other's company. The game room and hot tub came in handy during the trip as well. The location was great with access to hiking m, downtown Hunter and Tannersville. Valentyna was also a very attentive hostess with great attention to detail that we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely look to stay again.

Beautiful lakeside home

We had a fantastic stay in Valentyna's home. We had a large group of 16 at the home during labor day weekend. We found the house large, clean, updated and had plenty of space. The bedrooms are roomy, the living spaces are even larger than pictured, and the five different outdoor areas are fantastic. The house has every amenity you can ask for. Direct lake access is steps from the house and the house is close to Hunter for the winter months. We had a great time and would happily stay again.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at the lodge with a family of 13. Everything was clean and the host was very responsive. One thing to be aware of is that water access for small children is a little difficult, but the water was clean and the kayaks were great fun!

Family Vacation

We had one of the best vacations in years. Bobcat Lodge help provide the environment for my family to enjoy ourselves and each other. Our stay was during the week unfortunately a lot of the attractions were not open during the week only on Friday and the weekends.

Beautiful (!) villa with the lake access

It was 12 of us staying in this villa for 4 days. Amazing location: just about 100 feet to the beach where a few kayaks and a paddle boat were ready for us. All in perfect condition. Very private. A few villas around were separated by trees and bushes. We did not even notice them in the beginning. Beautiful little lake good for swimming and fishing. We caught a few decent-sized bass and catfish. The house itself is very modern and clean. Hot tub, sauna, game room, amazing porch/terrace with a view - everything exactly as advertised. Enough space for all of us. Big tables inside and outdoors. Very clean bathrooms. Everything in new condition. The central air conditioner kept our bedrooms nice and cool. More than enough towels. Fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Valentina is an excellent host. She was texting us all the time to make sure that we had everything we needed. The electric kettle broke, and we texted her about it at 11 pm. By 7 am the next morning, it was replaced. We definitely will rent it again. Valentina, thank you for the great vacation.

perfect catskill hideaway

Plenty of room, plenty of things to do, and plenty of fun. Snow in April a special surprise and bonus!!! Host was especially accomodating and pleasant! Highly recommended.

Great house for skiers and non-skiers alike

The house was exactly what we were looking for, incredibly close to the mountain with convenient access to both the main lodge and the Northern Express lift (opens a half hour later than the base area but way less crowded so you're skiing sooner). There was ample space at the house, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of games and activities. Views of the lake from the decks and the hot tub were amazing as well.

Great place

Amazing house minutes from hunter. Our work trip was a huge cause of this house. The hot tub and sauna kept us ready for the next day of skiing. All my colleagues insisted i book this house again for next year. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Great place.

Wonderful family getaway

We had the best family time at the Bobcat Lodge! The owner, Valentyna was so wonderful at communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. We have rented many homes over the years at all different locations, and I have to say she was the best in communicating and recommendations prior to our stay as we had never been there. The home was great! Very clean, and equipped.We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, and game room. The open kitchen was so perfect to all be together on nights when we cooked and stayed in. The home is very close to Hunter mountain which was great for the skiers in our group, only took about 2-3 mins to get there! We would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again!
