"Older motel with a hotel portion on the back half of the property. Staff is amazing, quality breakfast, clean pool, clean/quaint grass sitting area in the back, property is clean. Comfy beds, pillows, sheets. Old motel so THICK walls.
The rooms were probably remodeled 10-15 years ago, but they may have kept the original furniture in many of them. The hotel area hallways smell HORRIBLE, so call ahead and ensure you get a motel room with zero risk of smells walking to your room.
Stayed once before and the room was great (furniture not crazy old and no smells at all). This time, the room smelled a little like weed (barely; like a lemon scent, not the thick skunk scent).
Would stay again if by myself or one of my kids were with me, but the wife won't stay here again."
