“Room was clean just bath tub drain stopper was not working otherwise everything was perfect and I enjoy my stay very much. Definitely recommend to stay more days. Thank you !”

“Hotel was in generally poor condition like entrance doors, stairwells which needed to be serviced, cleaned. They need carpet, paint etc. That being said, the room was fairly nice and the showers are awesome!, Bed was comfy. The cleaning staff never touched our room in the 5 days that we were there so no clean towels, full garbage cans and overflowing….Make your own bed etc. They have new owners and hopefully that will help. The pool was clean and usable and breakfast was sparse but adequate.”

“I had a great stay here. The place was clean and comfortable, great location. I would definitely come back. My only complaint was that some people started fighting very loudly at 3am near my cabin and I didn’t know what to do, since there is no staff on site.”

“The room was nice enough but it had an odor about it, it stunk, maybe it was the cleaning supplies used. Some updates but still felt old. The bathroom sink was clogged, couldn't use it. That was terrible. Staff was not helpful at checkin. The person behind the desk tried to charge me a second time, the room was prepaid. Way overpriced and overrated for what we got. I would not stay again.”

“Upon arriving we were assigned a room on the second floor. The stair going up was filthy! Then they changed us to the main level upon seeing I was disabled after we climbed the stairs. So the air conditioner was broke. We both had medical devices that required electricity. None of the receptacles on the bed side worked. We had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the beds in order to reach receptacles on the oither side and we had to pull the table over to us to put our machines……

“I booked a trip six weeks in advance to go to Michigan- I was aware of the no refund policy. However over a month before the trip, I tried to cancel due to an illness/ hospitalization in my extended family. I tried cancelling and getting a refund, and the hotel wouldn’t refund with over a months advance notice. Even with the Expedia insurance, I would have had to provide medical records to prove a medical emergency, which wasn’t going to happen. DO NOT RESERVE FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. You……

“We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…”

“Very dirty motel !!! Alot of local druggies stay at this place not recommended for families.. Smells very bad and not properly sanitized.. very disappointing 😞”

“Good if going with a group of friends or significant other just ok for my son and I I dont drink or party wasn't too loud no breakfast or amenities at least tv and coffeemaker in the room”
