「This property has so much potential! It was clean and the room fit our needs. There should be coffee cups and a tray at the coffee maker space. Sprucewood looks like a project in progress which is great, but attention should be paid to the entrance area to make it more inviting. There are some wonderful landscape pieces around the building but the weeds need to be pulled and mulch or river rock laid around the plantings. Bringing this property to it's potential is certainly an expensive...

「This is a great place on Lake Erie. It's comfortable, clean and quiet. The owner was very friendly and accommodating -- she was there when we needed her but not intrusive. The room was recently remodeled, everything in perfect order and thoughtfully designed and laid out. Generous treats and coffee, even treats for the pups. Will definitely stay here again!」

Some distant sounds of train can be heard at night. But it's not a concern to us at all. Management is definitely outstanding. 「I stayed here as I was on a travel assignment for work(Registered Nurse). Great customer service. A lot of food options close by. I worked night shift and was able to get plenty of rest throughout the day time, no loud noises even with it being off a major road. Definitely recommend! 」

「I chose this place knowing the bad reviews and terrible conditions, expecting the worst, and it did not surprise me. It was dirty, and dilapidated. The tiles and wallpaper were falling off the walls. The owner was friendly, but the room was truly awful. He said that he didn't have my reservation, but could rent me a room he wasn't planning on renting out due to issues. Not sure whether to summate this as a good or a bad thing.
