This guesthouse was very clean and the rooms were newly renovated. There is no "common area" and the rooms are small but if you only need a place to sleep at night it's great. The rooms have their own private bathroom that is very clean. The location is in a residential neighborhood within the small town and is close to the hot springs. P.s. the hike to the river hot springs is about 1-1.5 hrs. This is by no means a fancy hotel but a nice quaint place to stay.

Sauberes Zimmer, Fensterverriegelung defekt … Fenster nicht verschließbar. Umgebung nicht so schön. Ausblick auf komplett zugeparkten Hof … Park & Fly. War eh nur als Unterkunft vor dem Abflugstag gedacht, da ich um 04.00 Uhr schon raus musste. Dafür war es in Ordnung. Auch der reibungslose Ablauf des CheckIn war super.

Nicht weit weg vom Sightseing Punkt aber sonst ist die Umgebung nicht sehr spannend. Vollkommen okay für eine Nacht. Etwas klein aber mit eigenem Bad,, Wasserkocher und Instant-Kaffe/Tee im Angebot. Alles funktional und praktisch gehalten. Sauber, ordentlich und beste Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus.

Bed comfortable. Easy check in at any time. Very quiet but it wasn't busy season so not sure how sounds proiof rooms are. Very close to hot river. Don't miss it out going there if you stay here

This was a busy Saturday at the end of summer season. It was also a rainy night. I got the last room, late. I have been through Reykjadalur several times before and I like this whole area. They did not have a breakfast, but they suggest another hotel which can accommodate breakfast as well as a bakery. I go with these endorsements.

It's a good value place to stay if you're doing a road trip or travelling through the area. Our room was comfortable enough but a bit dark and a bit too warm for our liking. Could have opened the window for some cool air but it was raining at the time! Will stay again though if we're in the area. It's an unattended property but we didn't need to contact anyone for assistance.

This is a basic hotel/hostel with no frills. PERFECT for travelers of Iceland given you are in your room to sleep and shower. It was safe, quiet, grocery store near by as well as petro and a bakery. LOVED IT!

There is no front desk, but all communications as to what room we had and how to retrieve the key worked just as they said. No problems there. The room itself was functional and had a coffee pot and some coffee packets, so that was nice. We did not use the fridge, but it seemed to be working. All in all, it was a good place for us to spend 2 nights while we toured the vicinity.

This was great for a one night stay for 2 people. The bed was great, location was great and parking was great! It was a bit noisy from our neighbors with a little kid and the bathroom had no countertop to put anything. Only hot worked in the shower, so we had to really improvise. Appreciated the fridge and microwave available!

Our room was much smaller than described / pictured, and I had thought there would be a few more kitchen amenities (tiny fridge in room, microwave in common area). The property is clean, quiet, easy check-in and very walkable. It was okay for our brief stay - just a different type of accommodation than we're used to -- pretty tight for 2 people lol.
