"Hotel Okura Kobe was an excellent choice for the trip to Kobe. The hotel was top level, spacious rooms, outstanding amenities, including state-of-the art gym, swimming pool with marked lanes, powerful jacuzzi, hot and cold water tubs in spa area, delicious cuisine, impeccable service and staff. It is highly recommended!"

"Beautiful hotel, elegant and well thought through from the free shuttle to downtown and from the train station to the convenience store on the main floor. We stayed in a triple room and had lots of space. One of the elevators was glass giving you an incredible view of the harbour. Pillows were a bit odd but you can ask for a softer set. Kettle and AC in every room. We loved it! Stay here for sure."

"Beautiful view overlooking the river. Everything super clean, and great breakfast and dinner buffet. Location is excellent, can walk all over town and easy to get to/from train station. Be aware, the onsen is not tattoo friendly, there are others in town that allow tattoos, but this is not one of them. Regardless, Highly recommend. "

"The checkin process was fantastic, and the baths are great. Our bed was massive! But we soon discovered it was because two full beds were pushed together making the bed disproportionately large for the room. The location was great for visits to the Himeji castle. Dont order the massage but do enjoy the hot baths and cold plunge on level 4."
