The cabin is just minutes from Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. From the minute you drive up to Wood Knot, you'll fall in love with its unique country charm. The wrap - around covered porch allows for amazing views of the tall pines and hardwood trees. A spacious back deck sits 12 feet off the ground giving it a "Tree House" effect. It features a sitting area surrounded by outdoor bamboo curtains, tropical plants, and a hot tub which gives it a spa like ambiance. There is also a 55 inch mounted TV, 2 zero gravity chairs, electric dart board and a string game , perfect for endless outdoor entertainment. An outdoor fire pit with sitting area makes for a perfect setting for roasting marshmallows or just relaxing by a nice fire! Wood Knot offers modern amenities with personal touches of country living throughout the cabin. The open floor plan allows for family and friends to interact whether to cozy up around the gas fireplace, watching the game on the large flat screen TV, or cooking the "catch of the day" in the fully equipped kitchen which includes a keurig coffee maker ( min. pods provided) ready to help get your day started.
As you make your way throughout Wood Knot, you'll notice the little details that were put into every bit of decorating the cabin. Many of the features were taken from an old barn dated back as early 1940's. The wood was made into cabinet trim, wall fixtures, and a beautiful 4 foot sliding barn door separating the bedroom and living room. The bedroom has a king size log framed bed, 42 inch flat screen TV with DVD player, and French doors that open out onto the back deck. The bathroom has custom built barn wood vanity with granite top and vessel sink, custom made mirror and linen closet. The beautiful walk in shower is lined with rock style tile and a rustic tin ceiling.
