The Perfect get away

Perfect cabin” chasing Rumors” , perfect spot, pictures do no justice because it’s stunning!! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Hot tub, sauna, view, fireplace, soaker tub, all of it is great!! Games for family, several TV’s inside & out & the perfect place to sit with family over a fire making s’mores. Beautifully designed & worth visiting again. We will be back!!

We’ve celebrated Labor Day weekend for the last three years in Hotchatown. This was our favorite cabin to visit. The cabin was clean with most all the amenities that one needs. I especially liked the coffee bar. I’m kind of an early morning person. We cooked steaks on the provided grill and we had plenty of room in the spacious kitchen, to prepare all the sides. Shane. “ the host” was extremely helpful. With tips before we arrived and text messages just to make sure all was well. The location was awesome and I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an awesome home away from home. Thank you,Shane! We’ll book again.

Excellent Cabin

Could not have selected a better cabin for my family to spend a few days. Excellent property with hot tub, outside patio fireplace, and most of all a SAUNA in the master bedroom. The wife really enjoyed the sauna and kids enjoyed the hot tub. This cabin feels alot bigger than a 2 bedroom as well. Will definitely stay again.

We spent three nights at this amazing “cabin”…really a well designed home! It is located on a quiet dead end street backing up to a wooded area. We enjoyed making meals in the well organized kitchen and eating on the large outsize deck area…no bugs! Excellent communication from the owner, easy access to the home. Highly recommend!!!

This was our second time to stay at Chasing Rumors, and it did not disappoint. It is a perfect place for a couple looking for a romantic, private, and quite place to get away (though there are two master bedrooms, so it is perfect for two couples as well!). It is exceptionally clean and has a beautiful/spacious kitchen with everything you need. I highly recommend this place. It is breathtaking.

This property is stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. Our stay here was nothing short of amazing, from check-in to check-out. Shane was a great host, checking in to make sure everything was to standards and showed he was available if needed. I've never stayed at a VRBO with such high level of customer service. Family Fall Break

Everything we needed for a perfect fall break was thought of with this stay. The property owner is delightful and answered every question promptly even checked in daily to make sure we didn’t need anything. The kids loved making s’mores around the fire pit and the owners took the extra mile and not only provided the sticks to roast the s’mores but the starter log, firewood, and the marshmallows. I would recommend and would stay again. Great location right near everything you need.

Luxury Tree House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chasing Rumors! Although the house was everything we expected and more, we loved, loved, LOVED the gorgeous deck! It was like being in a huge, luxury treehouse! To top it off, the house was by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever rented and it has every amenity you could want. Shane was attentive and quick to respond to our questions. You simply can’t go wrong staying here!

Perfect Thanksgiving

The actual cabin was exactly as pictured- beautifully decorated and the space was perfect for our family of 4 adults and a baby just beginning to walk. The great room furniture layout provided great seating for gathering, watching movies and playing games. It also allowed our granddaughter lots of play space for crawling and walking. The back outdoor space was wonderful! We used the hot tub and the couch in front of the outdoor fireplace made for a cozy reading place. We also used the fire pit area. The way the cabin is situated on the lot gives a wooded, secluded feeling that is very enjoyable! We would definitely stay here again! I will say if you’re preparing a big holiday meal, take hour own containers for leftovers.

Has it all!

House was beyond amazing. Shuffle board, inside and outside televisions, dry sauna and hot tub. Lots of windows to see the beautiful ravine it sits on. This place even had all kinds of spices provided and the attention to detail I’ve never seen. Inside and outside fireplaces, the list goes on. We had a small issue with outside fireplace and within no time, had a guy show up to light the pilot for us. They had yet to Light the pilot to outdoor fireplace from the summer. Incredible place, incredible service. We will be back to rent this same beautiful house.
