“First of all - I can confirm that this resort is not in an area of rolling sandy desert, as many people appear to expect. It is rocky, gravelly and with scrub vegetation, including lots of tiny pretty flowers (in mid-May). Also - you will not see an impressive array of stars in the night sky - because the resort is heavily lit and is surrounded by similarly heavily lit places.
