「The Hen House was a lovely retreat from the scorching Phoenix weather. We had a wonderful stay in the quiet casita between our time exploring downtown. So very grateful to our hosts--and thank you, Larry, for the extra help with loading our car! We would love to be back, and we highly reccomend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. 」

「The property smelled clean walking through the door. Good size, neighborhood is close to everything and some businesses are walkable, which is not as common for Phoenix.」

「Overall good stay and decent place but communication with the property owner for check-in was awful. I messaged them several times prior to my arrival even a week before and no response. Finally, after calling several times, I received a call back 45 minutes after check-in time, with check-in instructions. It is really not that hard to send one message to guest with instructions but required me calling them several times to receive response.」

「Here's a nice quiet place for a solo or couple. There's a great pool, great place to swim and sun. The host is super responsive and attentive to details. An issue with check in was dealt with very well. Parking and egress is great. The location is near the freeway, near downtown, and quick ways to reach anywhere in the valley. Would stay there again. 「No lighting getting to unit, creepy alley feeling. Outside are cute but not for small dogs. Multiple areas where they can escape. Pavers not level, big tripping hazard. Couple of electrical outlets with no faceplate or anchored. Hard to use. Toilet rocks. 」
