The property itself was quite nice. The booking experience was awful. The condo was booked and paid for the first week of February for a stay in mid-March, with 3 days' notice of cancellation required for a refund. The day before our stay, we received a call saying that our reservation had been canceled. But they could move us to a smaller condo (from the presidential 1 BR to a studio with only a Murphy bed). They could not tell me how much the difference in price would be, nor when it would be refunded (I have since received an email telling me the amount but have not actually received the refund a week after the end of our stay). We felt we had no choice but to accept the downgrade, with not enough advance warning to look for other options. And when we arrived at the property, no one there was aware of the issue, able to speak to what happened, or able to address it in any way. It felt like a deliberate attempt to prevent having to put a face to the mistakes that were made or to apologize for them.
Our other complaint was with the aggressive encounter and ongoing harassment to attend a time share presentation during our stay.
