“The room was disgusting. It was mold in the shower, the blow dryer didn’t work, shades were broken, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and there were stains on the sheets. There were also flies in the room. The photos on the website were extremely deceiving”

“Very disappointed. It definitely has potential and a good location. We went the weekend after Memorial Day and it seemed they were not ready for the season. Pool was not opened. Staff was very young - it seemed like they were left unprepared. Restaurant seemed chaotic (breakfast & lunch). I felt like I was walking into someone’s home unannounced. Each time they seemed surprised to see people there; they weren’t sure what they had and where it was. I got a premium room overlooking river and……

“We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean and fresh. We loved being across the street from the beach. The only concern was there is limited parking unless you want to pay across the street. It did not deter us because we walked everywhere and weren't going sightseeing nearby.”

“A wonderful place to stay as we explored Asbury Park. Dominick couldn't have been more helpful. Only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. Very highly recommended - will hopefully return one day!”

“Excellent location, cute room, very comfortable bed! Third floor of an older building. Room 8 had a very slanted floor, the door to our room was slanted and you have to lift the door to open. The bathroom shower floor felt like you could fall through. Seemed like renovations were done at minimal expense. Extension cords running all around the room. AC loud especially on low. Also walls are very thin when you hear someone sneeze. If your there for the beach it’s ideal!”

“It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Rooms are small but we didn't expect anything fancy. My discomfort was the front desk. When I called days earlier and said we were going to a wedding, would it be possible for an early check in, if the room was ready? I was told we could check in at 1 or 2pm for a $35 fee. I declined. Traffic was light and wound up arriving at 2:30. The desk clerk was not very welcoming. I asked if we needed to leave for half an hour. He said, very condescendingly,……

“The balcony smelled like urine before we even got to the room. The room itself was filthy, the carpet and furniture were stained,ripped and had burn holes. We didn't even bring our bags in. Still trying to getour money back from the hotel or Expedia.”

“Parking was fine stores and attractions were nearby. Looked a room with a queen bed when I arrived was told that it was not available and that it was first come first served. Was not offered any sort of discount due to inconvenience of my wife and I having two separate beds in the room things were worn out and outdated the establishment needs more upkeep painting and clean up. And apparently more housekeepers because it was also shortage of rooms due to a housekeeper being out for a day. Room……

“The receptionist was very friendly but the cleaning has been terrible since I arrived, the bathroom was covered in hair from the other clients and in the 5 days I stayed there. They didn't clean the room even for a day so it was terrible for me.”
