Cute stay
Loved the main living area, super cozy and had everything we need. Great location in town! Downstairs had a bit of a mold smell but if you don’t have a huge group it’s easy to avoid

A perfect place to stay
This house was ideally situated to enjoy the North Conway area. It was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely want to come back for our next visit.
Great place for a weekend. Quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay.

Nascar weekend
The property was great! It had everything we needed was clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor areas. Rained all 3 days but we can't control that. Looking forward to coming back with better weather
Our stay was a delight. Easy to get to all activities- shopping & eating! We are a neighborhood of moms who left our families at home! We ate in one night. 2 good showers, comfy beds, never used laundry, grille, deck or gas fireplace. Big peaceful back yard view in Nov!
We arrived at night and the lockbox is on the back door down the end of driveway surrounded by woodsy privacy, so I would recommend solar lights as a guide or floodlight with motion sensor back there. Other than that little minor note, just an AMAZING PLACE! Thank you

A great home base!
We stayed at the Fairy Cottage in the Woods over the Fourth of July holiday. It was a wonderful home base for us ~ close to Conway/North Conway, White Mountain hiking, lots of sight seeing on the Kancamagus Highway, 90-minutes to the Maine coast. The house was close to ‘town’ and yet we felt like we were in a very private area. The house worked well for our family with two teens. There was plenty of separate space for each of them. I would recommend this house.
Great stay lots of room and plenty of windows. Its a plus because N. Conway is about 10 minutes away. I only have one concern, the front door was open and the windows have no privacy. Personally i like curtains......anyways to visit again i most definitely will thank you.
The main and second floors were clean and well kept but the walk out floor which had a bedroom, living room and the home's second bathroom, had a bad odor. Fortunately we didn't need the accommodations of the walk out floor or we would have left.

Seasonal Visitors
We take a yearly trip to the North Conway area and I was excited to have the basement space for my sister and her boyfriend but upon arrival, it was all dismantled which is not what was pictured. No washer/dryer as pictured or fridge. It’s a nice location and a decent space but could use a bigger kitchen. The lock boxes were not the easiest either. The home could also use a good dusting.
My wife and I had a great one-week stay here with our two children. The location was perfect for us -- very close to town but on the north side giving easy access to the hiking trails of the Presedentials and Crawford Notch. The house feels fairly new and was absolutely pristine when we arrived. Vacasa does a great job communicating about check-in, Wifi passwords, etc. They also have somebody on call you can text if there are any issues during your stay, though we didn't have any. We found the house overall quite comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The only real negatives were: 1) no dishwasher and a small kitchen area meant we didn't do any cooking, 2) there are a lot of windows, but no window shades at all other than thin fabric tacked up in two of the bedrooms, so the downstairs bedroom and the two small beds in the upstairs hall get lots of sun, and 3) some really minor issues like the downstairs bathroom door not closing and one of the main floor windows not closing all the way. Another review talked about the lack of A/C but there is a heat pump unit that cooled the place very well. We had a black bear in back yard late one afternoon so be aware that if you're traveling with a pet or young children you may not want to leave them alone to play outside. The bear sighting was actually a great experience and seems to be increasingly common in this area, so read up on how to handle it if you happen to encounter one.
We are giving this beautiful property a 3. We loved being able to cook in the kitchen, have meals in the dining room and watch the bears from the comfort of the living room. The couch was very comfy and we enjoyed having access to the TV and internet accounts. We had a great stay, but there are some issues that could be improved on.
Cleanliness- silverware, pans and plates had food on them, so we had to wash everything before use. There were lots of bugs, particularly ants in the kitchen and bathroom. There was also a hat behind the couch pillow.
Safety- The top floor door would only lock if you lifted up on the door and pushed hard. It was locked but open when we arrived.
Comfort- The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The only way we were able to sleep, was by purchasing a foam mattress to top the one they had.
Nice pet friendly property....a bit more attention to some small details could really make this a better listing:
1) Major lack of storage space - two bureaus were filled with extra blankets...we were unable to unpack and feel at home. I suggest a blanket chest (there is room for it) so that guests can actually put away the suitcases and feel settled.
2) No hooks for towels or robes in the bathrooms or bedroom closets.
3) Kitchen inventory should be checked and augmented as needed. For example, there were only two wine glasses in the house and limited leftover containers, so we opted to buy more and leave them.
4) Window treatments in bedrooms and bathrooms - the house has flimsy unlined curtains on tension rods. Mini blinds are super inexpensive and would provide some privacy.
5) The house has minimal decor - I'm not suggesting ski house kitsch, but a few thoughtful touches would improve the home, make it feel cozier, and elevate the guest experience.
These are all minor issues but make the difference between a "nice: accommodation and a great one.

Great house, great location
This was a lovely home, fully stocked, roomy, and perfectly clean. Though we didn’t use it, the yard is large with a nice sitting area and fire pit. The main floor has 1 bedroom with a washer & dryer and bathroom. The bathroom also has access to the kitchen so it can easily be used by anyone sleeping upstairs. The upstairs’ loft has 2 twin beds and there’s a separate bedroom with 2 more twin beds. Downstairs has another large bedroom, bathroom, and living area. There’s even a small kitchen (it wasn’t functional during our stay- perhaps a work in progress). All of the beds were comfortable.
We especially loved the location - easy access to just about anything you’d want to do in the Whites. We no longer stay in N Conway as the traffic gets worse every year, but this is just right outside of town so we were able to get there easily to shop or eat. And it’s less than 10 minutes from the White Mountain Cider Co., my favorite market/restaurant in the area, so there’s that!
This house was exactly what we were looking for. I’d definitely stay here again.

Short stay during our leaf peeping trip
This house was perfect for our short stay near Conway. It was an easy drive to all that Conway and the White Mountains had to offer without being in the middle of it. The yard was great for our pup to run around and use up some energy. The only thing that would have been nice to have was coffee in the cabinet, but we were able to remedy this by a short trip to the grocery store. If we make it back to the area, we will definitely rent again.

Great Stay!
This was the first vacation we were able to take with our toddler since we moved back to the East Coast. The home was perfect - clean, well-stocked, and in a fantastic location. We took our kiddo to Storyland which was less than 10 minutes away, we went up to the summit of Mt Washington, and we walked around North Conway Village.
For the time we did spend in the house, it had everything we needed. There was plenty of room, inside and out. It was nice to enjoy a drink on the deck and build a fire under the starry sky.
We'll definitely be back!

The property was great. They have it so the first floor and the ground floor could be two separate families and you can drive your car to either entry. It's not very toddler friendly given the stairs to second level and down to basement. Would have felt better with railings down to basement level. (We were traveling with a very pregnant person, a handicap person, a handicap dog and the toddler.) Location is awesome and close to downtown and Storyland. The house was clean and well stocked. They didn't have a way to clean the grill but it was a convenient way to cook our meals. The outdoor area looked great but it was too hot for us when we went to actually use it. Our dog enjoyed being able to stay there so that was awesome.

Very clean, quiet and private. There was lots of room inside with all the amenities you would need and more. Spacious yard with fire pit plus balcony grille and chairs to enjoy. Inside were family games, multiple tvs and lounging areas. It was a wonderful property and we would definitely stay there again!
