"The schoolhouse was like stepping back in time. I loved all the special touches and attention to detail! The place was very clean and comfortable with an excellent mattress! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect for us as we were visiting our son in Charles Town but also wanted some time in Shepherdstown. "We had a great stay at this townhouse in Charles Town. We were there to visit Harper’s Ferry which was about a 15 minute drive. The townhouse is new, nicely decorated and comfortable. Check in was easy. Allowing pets with an added fee was a bonus. We did not need to contact the host but did exchange some texts so knew they were available if needed."

"This is just what my partner and I wanted. The cabin is cozy, clean and comfortable on a peaceful, well-maintained property, surrounded by nature. The fireplace operates on gas, so you won’t need firewood. If you plan on doing some cooking, you might want to bring a good chef’s knife, but the kitchen is pretty well equipped. No complaints!
