I stayed here 15 years ago and remember liking it more than the fancy $300 a night hotel room paid for by my employer for work nights. Now, if you need space or are traveling with children I probably wouldn't book but it is easily the best value for a comfortable room in all of Japan in my opinion. "

"Fantastic location, minutes to the subway and a few steps around the corner to Nakamise and Senso-ji temple. Clean, compact - very, only downside is the rooms are not soundproofed and with the bathrooms located outside of the rooms, those coming in late or leaving early can be heard. Ok if people are considerate, but in our case they were not. However we would stay again because of the amazing location, right in the thick of it, and a women only hostel."
